The necessary conclusion of this video is that Jesus Christ and his disciples never physically lived but were myths originating from celestial patterns. There is an enormous amount of evidence contradicting this, most notably the writings of the actual apostles (Paul, Peter, etc.). It's good to be skeptical of religion but this video is merely a product of the anti-Christian zeitgeist which happens to be in vogue right now.

I personally don't believe half the stuff I'm told about things that happened in the past few years, let alone thousands of years ago. It's not really focusing on language but stating the fact that many religions are just allegories for the activity of sky, sun, and stars (at least to me). In any area of the Earth, no matter what language people of that region speak, the natural occurrences depicted in the film flow in the same pattern. This is why the creation myths and religions of various peoples are similar even without any or with little contact between them. I find this video fascinating regardless of personal beliefs.

pt4 I once worked translating Japanese documents into English with a Japanese guy with pretty good English skills. I knew a little about the subject but was not entirely expert. With two people working at it over the course of a few hours a day, in 2 modern languages it was still incredibly difficult to always correctly translate the meaning. I saw Zeitgeist and thought they had some interesting things to say, but I noticed A LOT of lies and errors in the 1st part where they talk about Christianity, i.e. they talk about the 3 wise men, while the Bible just says that there were multiple wise men who brought 3 gifts. It's not really focusing on language but stating the fact that many religions are just allegories for the activity of sky, sun, and stars (at least to me). In any area of the Earth, no matter what language people of that region speak, the natural occurrences depicted in the film flow in the same pattern. This is why the creation myths and religions of various peoples are similar even without any or with little contact between them. I find this video fascinating regardless of personal beliefs.

pt4 I once worked translating Japanese documents into English with a Japanese guy with pretty good English skills. I knew a little about the subject but was not entirely expert. With two people working at it over the course of a few hours a day, in 2 modern languages it was still incredibly difficult to always correctly translate the meaning. The nuances of a language often do not translate at all. These were factual technical documents on power generation.

Jesus was not born on December 25th, in fact, that date wasn't decided until more than 300 years after his death by some catholic denominationalist bishop. Nowhere in the bible is there any verse or hint that tells the day of Jesus' birth. Otherwise a very interesting video. It's a shame so much research was done but the fact that December 5th as Christ's birthday never shows up in the Word was missed. Christmas was created by catholics.

It is correct, there is no connection between "son" and "sun" except in English (not even old English).
Is it significant that Christian historians place the actual birth of Christ in spring and not Dec. 25, which is just the feast day? Christianity is renowned for "adapting" pagan tradition with new meaning.

The old testament stories written in cuneiform came from Sumer a 1000 years before Abraham and his father left Ur to wander in the lands of Canaan.

I found it interesting. It does seem to trivialize Christianity in its likeness to other ancient religions. On the contrary, the ancient world, the myths (myth does not mean false) of ancient peoples can be seen as prefigurements of the Incarnation. The early Christians saw the natural world as reflecting divinely revealed truth. The facts in the video don't necessarily lead to the conclusions, that's where you apply your faith and reason. According to Wikipedia and Encyclopedia Britannica, the jews wrote the old testament at the earliest in 1300 BC. Egypt formed around 5000 BC. And the Mesopotamians before that. And half the books I listed were written around 2000BC(early bronze age), older than the OT, which was written around 1400BC(late bronze age).
The Epic of Gilgamesh was written around 2500BC, which is way before the OT and the Book of Exodus.

This video or movie is an attempt to ignore the old testament prophesies about the messiah (all of which Jesus Christ fulfilled) by borrowing from mythological stories to make it appear that the birth, life, death, resurrection and return of Christ is also a myth.

It then goes on to point out that these similarities seem to be in direct correlation with the movement of the sun throughout the seasons. Interesting video about Jesus Christ and references to him from all types of western and eastern mythology, but of course the birth, life, death, resurrection and return of Christ was prophesied in the Law and the Prophets (the Old Testament) long ago. No wonder he is called king of kings, lord of lords, god of gods.
