Gosh, The Magnetic Fields make me want to take up the uke! They're one of my favourite bands, and this is a lovely cover :) Is the instrument difficult to pick up? I dabbled in bass guitar a few years ago, hoping that might make it a bit easier...?

@Bambooo666 Thank you very much! The ukulele wasn't difficult for me to pick up, because I played guitar and other string instruments. I don't think you'll have a hard time with it if you have experience with string instruments and it's so much fun to learn. Good luck!

@hakunamatatababy You're welcome! Thanks for the advice - after three years without so much as picking up a stringed instrument, I've taken the plunge and bought myself a uke! I've had it for about two weeks now, and you're right, I'm having lots of fun. It's taking a good while to get used to chords & strumming after playing bass, but that's to be expected. What a lovely instrument :)
