My Nokia N73 Camera Problem

camera of my nokia n73 nt open...... means the main camera not open....when i open the slide it doesn't capture the images/videos......

I got the same issue with my phone. I just use the time (2 seconds). Abit clumsy but it works!

I Have That Problem, But The Solution I Found Was, Pressing The Button Quite Hard,, Till It Takes It, Dont Feel Sorry For The Phone And Press It Lightly Press It Reaalllyyy Hardd.. Lol

my nokia n73 has the same problem guys...i got it just a couple of weeks ago and now when i slide open the strip, it does show the view but it does not capture the image even if i press the button hard and long enuf...

it just gives a clicking sound.. kind of a chirping sound and then... nothing happens.. could u plz tell me how to go about that green * and 3 thingy goes? cz i have forgotten my lock code too... all messed up!

can someone please help? i just change my nokia n73 phone case/shell from the original black to pink. but then when i slide to open the back camera,nothing happens! wth..? the screen just stays in standby mode. i've tried jiggling it and stuff but it still doesn't work. it wasn't like that before i changed the case. help pls,i'd really appreciate that. thanks!

Did you change the slider(back cover) too? If so, the new slider might be the problem. Try reusing the original slider and if it works with the original one, then the new ones the problem. Good luck!

Yes,i did change the slider. But i already got it fixed and found out the problem. Turns out there were 2 metal screw things which activate the camera upon sliding missing. it's called the 'housing' according to the technician. So people,when you change your n73 phone case,pls make sure the whole set is complete to save you some stress whatever. i got the housing from my original case though and jst transferred it to the new one.

i got da same problem my n73 has 2 gb n left 485mb memory left but when take photos i slide it like nothing happen n i need to take the cover out n put bak in den it works

but when taking pictures i click the button it juz stay there do nth i click harder it flash wad is tis some 1 tell me the reason!!!

1 - try to instal a new phone pfash

means reinstalation or update

2 - ur mobile memory is too low fot capturing

3 - it's fucked up and their is nothing to do my freind

Try 12345 o 00000 te other format is pressing call button green , number 3 and * and press on the phone supposed to format.

have you try a reset by *#7370# before using this trick backup your phone because do a format to factory settings this trick helps a friend who have problems on taking photos. Cya.

you have to press it realy hard if you did´nt do that and the camera is a bit retarded when you´r going for a photo
