@Courtneyyyy1000 i was really passionate about playing clarinet and band from 8th to 11th grade. i hope you go through the same phase and improve and enjoy playing too! uhh, i dunno what level music this is. the rhythms aren't necessarily that difficult. just take your time and listen to the soundtrack. the key signature is definitely a pain but it will expose you to playing with a lot of sharps.
TMJ is this jaw disorder where it pops and i can't open my mouth all the way without it locking and hurting like a mothereffer. i don't have it anymore so i'm lucky because i'd to have it for the rest of my life.

I'm not quite sure where you're headed.. if you're referencing my TMJ, that was a temporary condition--it hasn't been hurting or locking anymore. I currently use the Zinner JC1 (a very closed mouthpiece).
And how do you know about Kline's? Do you live in the same area?
Very nice - actually I think you are way too good for this song. The melody is repetitive and flat and you can play almost anything I think. I am just entering second year of evening classes and starting on the upper register. My tone is horrible. Horrible! Much worse in the lower register than it was last year too. Oh well, must practice... keep up the good work!
Hey, didn't mean to trash the song, I just meant that it didn't sound good on clarinet since its melody line is too repetitive; it sounds good with him singing it because of the tone of his voice and the way a voice can tweak a note. Doesn't quite work that way on clarinet. But I'll think of something for you to play, sure.

Your tone is very nice. One thing I would work on is making sure you're blowing fast focused air into the instrument especially around throat A to long B/C. Those notes will really sound 50000x better with more air, especially focused air. You sound good!
yeah i have always had problems with my throat notes =/ i'm not sure how to clear it up, it always sounds stuffy. more air seems to just draw out the stuffiness too. could you elaborate on focusing the air? thanks for the help
to keep a focused sound, when you play imagine you are saying ca-KE. so keep your tongue in that KE position. Also blow faster air and it will help with the flatness of the right hand and put fingers down to make your throat tones sound better. Your reed might be too hard too.

yeah i play with resonance fingerings to improve tone quality and lower the pitch for my throat tones, but the airiness in my Bb is still there
