  • it seems like they made a spoof of the whole movie =P haha

  • Haven't had anything camp in the movie? How about every line of Hobbit dialogue and interaction - it's like gay soft porn for dwarfs. Still, great movies

  • OMG if they had a clip of him with this wig and Elrond when the hairstylist gave him this crazy girly hairdo, that would've been insane!

This is absolutely brilliant though! :D

  • 0:31 is that soundtrack sounds as if it's from Tes Oblivion...

  • I love how it's totally silent for a few seconds, and then you just hear one, single snort followed by everyone else, like they PHYSICALLY could not hold it back anymore. XD

  • Extended edition in blu ray I got this

  • viva the queen ian mckellen

  • Just the fact that he pulled off that scene without breaking out into laughter is proof he's one of the greatest actors out there :)

  • It;s truly queen.

  • I can't seem to find this in my extras, can anyone tell me where it is?

TW, loved how close these people got as friends and some kind of family and how they made time to have fun like this video :)

  • @ladylotuske im really curious about where these are too

  • @DarMar106 As it says in the information for the video, these clips are from the Limited Edition DVDs. It sounds like you're thinking of the Extended Edition DVDs. Limited Edition doesn't have Extras, just one single documentary per movie.

  • @unstrungzero And now the Blu Ray Extended Edition has all these Features. But the Documentary movies arent in Anamorphic Widescreen for some retarted reason.

  • @mickdukes The Bible is a moral guide, it is not to be taken literally, as stated by several Popes. You forget Christ's message. You do not deserve to call yourself a Christian. He professed not hate, but love, and to all. He even said "love thy enemy." And if Christ is part of the Holy Trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, that makes Him part of God. Christ is God in a mortal incarnation. And before you say anything, I've been taking courses that study the Bible, and from nuns

  • @BlazeIgnitus and priests as my professors, as I go to a Catholic university. Now get lost with your hate-mongering. You're no Christian if you spit on Christ's words.

  • @BlazeIgnitus You’re right, there are a number of allegories to be found in the Scriptures, many of them spoken by Jesus Himself, but in terms of the moral Law (not behavioral, in terms of what one may or may not eat; see Acts 10:13-15) given in the OT and reiterated in the NT by Paul and others, we are not to question or override.

  • @BlazeIgnitus Homosexuality is condemned as damaging to the soul and body in both. This is indisputable. There is no room for different interpretation in the words, “It is an abomination” (Leviticus 18:22). “All Scripture,” we read in 2 Timothy 3:16., “is given by inspiration of God”. “Do not think I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets… but to fulfill them” (Matthew 5:17). I don’t care what the popes say. “Do not trust in princes, in mortal men who cannot save” (Psalm 146:3).

  • @BlazeIgnitus Finally, Jesus did indeed teach love, but He also made it clear that sin must be undone. He didn’t visit with the tax collectors and the prostitutes and give them advice on how to be better swindlers or better prostitutes. He condemned their sin for want of the absolvement of their souls. You could stand to reread the Bible yourself, friend.

  • @mickdukes Where is it specifically stated in the Bible that homosexuality is a sin? Where specifically? All I've seen is how intercourse is meant for procreation. And does God not make us all who we are? One's sexuality is GENETIC, and has been proven to be such. And, if I'm not mistaken, the papacy has come to say that evolution and genetics don't disprove the Bible, but should instead be read hand-in-hand. I refuse to tell my family and friends who aren't heterosexual that they're sinners

  • @BlazeIgnitus , that they're evil. I will not become a Judas. I will not become a pawn of The Enemy. I won't turn my back on my friends or family.

  • @BlazeIgnitus And before you judge me, mick, know this. You are not my judge, nor is the Pope or any priest. As my name Daniel means, named for the prophet in the Book of Daniel: God is My Judge. Not you. I do not answer to you, nor to any priest. Only He is worthy to judge me, or anyone.

  • @BlazeIgnitus

You’re right and I am not making any claims to be judging you. What am I doing? Quoting Scripture, which you seem to have no argument against. You’re right in that Jesus said “Judge not, lest ye be judged” (Matthew 7:1), but He also said, “Do not judge according to APPEARANCE, but with RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT” (John 7:24).

  • @mickdukes Perhaps I have no argument against Scripture. The only one I have, really, is that the Bible is meant more to be a moral guide than anything. But I refuse to believe that just because someone is not heterosexual that they are a sinner. If God makes us who we are... then that includes Him making us with our sexualities. I refuse to believe that us being who we are through His creation can potentially make us sinners based on how we were made.

  • @BlazeIgnitus What are you basing your opinions on? If you believe that the Bible should only be used as a “moral guide” and it roundly condemns the homosexual way of life, what are moral guidelines are you throwing out? Which are you keeping? If you’re going the “cafeteria line” route, why claim to be a Christian (or Catholic, I suppose) in the first place?

  • @BlazeIgnitus And help me understand where you got the idea that “God makes us who we are”? Certainly not the Bible. Be careful of coming up with rationalizations that absolve your sins and give you a comfortable enough outlook to slough off what God has spoken.

  • @mickdukes God created Adam and Eve, did he not? Created the core ancestors whom all humans share. He imparts the souls into our bodies. Our souls make up who we are. They are the purest forms of ourselves. Humans are made in God's image, according to the Bible. Therefore, I can say that God makes everyone who they are, for He is the source of all life. Or do you not trust in that? Do you not believe that He is the source of all creation? Do you see how easy it is turn your argument against you?

  • @BlazeIgnitus You say that you are not judging me. Yet here you are, saying that I am just coming up with rationalizations to absolve my sins. Here you are, judging me. That is what I cannot STAND about religious zealots! So damned self-righteous. So confident that they are right. Religion is full of contradictions, full of double-standards. Was it not in the Commandments "Thou shalt not kill/murder?" And yet look at the Crusades! Christians killing in the name of God, sinking further into sin.

  • @BlazeIgnitus And it was not just Muslims that were slain. There were innocents. I decry any religion which uses violence to further their own goals. Don't you DARE look down upon me or anyone, you Bible thumper! You are not my judge!

  • @BlazeIgnitus You haven’t turned anything around, and here’s why. Scripture indicates that we are born with sin nature, and while God is the one who formed our bodies, Adam and Eve, our “ancestors” as you say, introduced sin into the lives of their descendants under Satan’s temptation. Paul refers to his own sinful nature when he stated, “For in me (that is, in my flesh) dwelleth no good thing” (Romans 7:18). Jesus, however, came “in the likeness of sinful flesh” (Romans 8:3) to make a way.

  • @BlazeIgnitus So, sin exists in our lives and God calls us to repent of those sins. That begs the question, who decides what is and isn’t sin? Not us, that’s for sure. A murderer can justify his crimes in his or her own mind, by insanity or some twisted code or whatever. God alone decrees what is sin and what isn’t. Let me say it again, and I’m only reiterating what the Scriptures we both claim to hold to say: Homosexuality is an abomination before God.

  • I will not waste any more time with you. Good and Evil cannot exist without one another. Without evil, one cannot know what is good as there is nothing to compare it to, and vise-versa. The Bible was written by the hands of man, not by God's hands. I am done. And I will not drop out of this university because, guess what? It accepts all people of all faiths! This is why I despise organized religion: because there are people like you who take it too literally. And many are homophobic.

  • @BlazeIgnitus You despise organized religion yet you attend a Catholic university and consult priests and nuns. That makes about as much sense as your opinions have. Best of luck to you, friend, and may the Holy Spirit guide you, at long last, into all truth. Peace.

  • @mickdukes I don't consult priests and nuns. They are my professors in Theology and Philosophy classes. I go to a Catholic university because of the fact that it was offering me the best chance I could get at a degree in Education; I got there on a full academic scholarship. Truth is subjective. Be blinded by your zealotry. But I keep my eyes open. I like religion for the hope it gives to others, and the core message of religions. But this stupid fighting between them has left me jaded, as have

  • @BlazeIgnitus zealots like yourself. So long as there are religious zealots, there can NEVER be peace.

  • @BlazeIgnitus I'm sorry, I'm very much on your side, but as I just said to the other party in this discussion, this is a video about Lord of the Rings, can we PLEASE stop bringing up religion and judging and homosexuality and everything else. This is NOT the place. I don't want to have to start blocking people and removing comments AGAIN. You're not going to get through to him in a youtube argument. :\

  • @unstrungzero All right. For your sake and this video's, I'll cease. There's no getting through to this fool it seems.

  • @BlazeIgnitus Thank you, I very much appreciate it. The more we feed these people with comments, the more they keep ruining the fun of a simple video.

  • @BlazeIgnitus If you’re going to say God “is the source of all creation” that brings you to the conclusion that He is also the source of evil. If that’s the case, you might as well drop out of that Catholic university. Pick a side, friend, you’re walking on thin ice.

  • @mickdukes This is a video about Lord of the Rings, can we PLEASE stop bringing up religion and judging and homosexuality and everything else. This is NOT the place. I don't want to have to start blocking people and removing comments AGAIN.

  • @BlazeIgnitus The Papacy has had its share of moral troubles recently in taking a hard stance against the sexual offenders who wear their colors, so to speak, so I don't know why you'd use their word as justification for any argument. Again, I refer you to Psalms 146:3. As for specific instances in which homosexuality is roundly condemned:

    Leviticus 18:22

    Leviticus 20:13

    Romans 1:26-27

    1 Corinthians 6:9-10

That being said, you should go on to read 1 Corinthians 6:11.

  • Sauroman disliked this 6 times

  • You know you're a focused actor when you can do that with a straight face o.O

  • lmfao

  • i didnt see it and i have the Limited edition and the other one

  • @mhgirsl Are you sure you have the Limited Edition and not the Extended Edition? Lots of people get confused since there's 3 versions of DVDs out there.

  • @unstrungzero idk i will cheak with my dad and mom

  • @unstrungzero i was so disapointed that the Blu-ray verison didn't come with both the extended and theactrical verisons on each disk maybe i got the wrong Blu-ray triology box set but if not thats fucking lame. Hell close encounters came with all 20 different verisons of the same movie (Obvisouly Exaggerating)

  • @unstrungzero which one is the best one the regular, extended or the limited one?

  • @Goldengirl159 The Limited Edition DVDs have both the Theatrical and Extended versions of the movies, and each movie has one bonus disc of about 2 hours of behind-the-scenes features that have not been seen before. The Extended Edition DVDs are actually better in my opinion because they have 2 bonus discs of hours and hours of interviews and features and they have the 4 different commentaries on the actual movies themselves.

  • @unstrungzero are there many scenes on the limited edition, which i cant watch on my extended editions??

in this case, i would nee the LE!

  • @xD3019 There are no extra scenes in the movies on the limited edition, only extra bonus material.

  • @unstrungzero -.- i know, thats what i mean!

  • @xD3019 Then, as I said in the comment you replied to, all the behind-the-scenes stuff on the Limited Edition DVDs are ONLY found on the LE's. None of it is on the Extended Editions.

  • jajajajaja esta genial l video

  • "Well... why not."

  • I was able to hold my laugher in until he said, "now come the days of the queen". Oh god. XD

  • O.. M.. G.. XD He is so brilliant

  • Hehehe, Love him. ^^ -Makes me want to dress up, elven now- XD-

  • cute.... XD

  • Now come the days of the queen.... that phrase will NEVER leave my mind.

  • This was fcking hilarious but I don't get it 0_0 can somebody explain that to me :) please

  • @lovesick15 some gay people, especially those that are the most camp are known as "queens"

  • HOW CAN HE KEEP A STRAIGHT FACE LIKE THAT!!!!! 0____0

    it's hilarious

  • Hehe, how does he keep a straight face?

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaa. ; DD

  • wtf the wig hahaha :-----DDD

  • @Hittman305

It's never a matter of 'who' you love. That detail is superfluous and inconsequential. What matters is 'how' you love. To be a loving individual gives no indication of sexual orientation.

"Love thy neighbor as thyself." are the words of your Christ, and whatever is distinguished past that is needless.

And before you start throwing Prejudice Leviticus at us, know only that your hatred of people you don't need to hate is what strays you from the path. To hate is to allow evil.

  • @OrzoMaestro thanks so much.......you are so right.

  • Funny, we made a joke of Gandalf the Gay... Im so surprised he made that joke himself. Thats just awesome :D

  • He can't keep his poker face! XD And oh my, I had totally forgotten how beautiful Elijah is!

  • Ahahahahaha, that is so awesome xD

  • @Hittman305 pleeeeeeeeeeease. I am a Christian gay person, DO NOT EVEN THINK about putting ME in the same catogary as someone who kills others HOW DARE YOU? I say sorry for my sins but to me and many others being gay is not one off them. Do not speak to me if you are going to insult me by saying I am the same as someone like Charls Manson...

  • @Hittman305 please don't even talk to me you biggot, thanks I am happy the way God made me.. judge not lest ye be judged..

  • @Hittman305

Don't be a douche. He came to talk about how to deal with homophobia, not promote it. I would have hated to be at school when you were. It's great that times have moved on. If you don't have something constructive to say, keep your pathetic comments to yourself.

  • @Nightmareb4Chrimbo, lucky, I am sooooo jealous, he's awesome!

  • They should have left that in there. That would have been hilarious lol

  • Ha! Ha! Hilarious wig! It reminds me of the bows I used to wear when I was little!

  • @DannieTheElf

Hey there! I hardly wore bows as a kid but I had two huge pigtails sticking out of the sides of my head and I almost looked like Reenee off of Sailormoon! Lol!

Seriously, I found this backstage segment to be hilarious, especially with the wig!

Ian McKellen is such a great actor.

  • WAHAHAAHAHH

  • "We haven't had anything camp in this whole movie"

This is LOTR we're talking about - how on earth did you miss it all?

  • What an awsome sense of humor
