  • The Dolphins should go back to those jersys.. like the 49ers went back to their 80's look

    any others agree?

  • @coolnesss16 Their jersey's have hardly changed at all. They just look sleeker now. The only major change is the logo which was an improvement imo.

  • @Potandthekettle I like the stripes back then on the sleaves and the socks. The helmet was an improvement though.

  • Just a brief message to those 'debating' the play of the offensive line on the 1984 Dolphins: two members of this offensive line not only went to the Pro Bowl in 1984, but they were both first team All-NFL, and one was enshrined in Canton at the end of his career. The 'running by committee' each had nearly 3 runners turn 500+yards on the season, each rushing for more than 4.2 per carry and adding 18 more TDs on the ground. They also led the league in least number of QB sacks. 'Sucked?' Hardly.

  • One of the all time greatest. He'd sure be lighting up defenses if he was at his prime at this current time in the NFL.By the way the two guys below me,you are both trolls and clearly have no lives commenting about dozens of times already.

  • @xIAmAwesomex1 You're a troll just by saying that.

  • Best QB of all time, hands down. All this bickering here makes no sense. Marino never had a running game, every once in a while had a D to talk about. Being from New England for me to say this hurts. But Brady, Farve, Manning, Brees all have played in a weak NFL. All the penalties have made the game a pre-modonna game. Looks like Marino's line here was good 1 out of every 4 TD's. This was a fun video to watch, shows how great this guy was!

  • he'd have 50+ TDs today EASY! ive always said this about some of Marino's records... they hafta change some of the offensive/defensive rules to break them.. in this case, the 5,084yds passing and the 48TDs... and, in order for u to even have a CHANCE in throwing for 60,000yds, u gotta go ur whole career without a serious injury (Brett Favre... 70,000).. he was truly a "pain in the ass" on the field at QB for non-Dolphin fans... lol

  • Wow, what a great video! This was the year I first became interested in football. The '84 Dolphins are the reason I'm a Dolphins fan to this day.

  • This was when Shula forgot what made his teams great over the years. (Tough as nails defense and a versatile running game.) For all of his talent Marino never really managed games very well in his prime which kept what was already an ordinary defense on the field way too long. This probably cost the Dolphins a dynasty that would have more than eclipsed the Packers and the Steel Curtain.

  • @WatchVenusSpa You're blaming it on Marino?? REALLY? You mean the fact that they didnt have a great defense or star running back isnt it? You do realize this is a team sport right? GTFO of here with that nonsense. The guy practically carried his teams for yrs having to overcome ineffective defense and running game. You're right about Shula though.

  • @Potandthekettle Game and time management are as important as a great arm. (See Terry Bradshaw and Troy Aikman for examples.) I blame a lot of this on Don Shula dumping what had worked for him for 20 years and basically adopting Don Coryell's playbook instead. Dan had a reputation for being a bit of a hothead but had Don maintained his system and simply opened it up the way Bill Walsh did and not eliminate the run, the Dolphins would have won 4-5 Super Bowls.

  • @WatchVenusSpa Now this is a more thought out post. Yes, Marino was a hothead but he won alot of games with his arm. He didnt manage the game. He didnt have the luxury of calling his own plays. Thats why I said you're right about Shula. Not to mention the O coordinator

  • @WatchVenusSpa I'll reply to your comment by quoting Jim Mandich - who said this later on in Dan's career when Jimmy Johnson was coach of the Dolphins - 'asking that man Dan Marino to hand off is like asking a brain surgeon operate on hemorrhoids."

  • @jrdurr2 And that's why John Elway ended his career with back to back Super Bowl wins and Marino didn't.

  • @WatchVenusSpa John Elway had a superstar/hall of fame running back to hand off to. Marino had JJ Johnson, John Avery, Cecil Collins and Karim Abdul among others. You don't ask Marino to hand off to backs like that. Period. Give Marino a hall of fame running back, then yes, you have no trouble handing the ball off.

  • @jrdurr2 I always wished they could have pulled off a trade to get barry sanders. That would have been awesome.

  • them were the days - explosive, aggressive plays where every player knew what they were doing - shame the fins of 2011 are not any of these. Marino and co make it look effortless - total class and what an arm and vision

  • How many Super Bowls would've Dan Marino had won had he had a good Running Game and defense most of his career.

  • Wow marino's release is insanely fast.Its unbelievable,otherwordly,god-speed.

His release was what beat the 85 bears defense. He made their defense look lost.

My fav of all time :)

  • Oh, the good ol' days..... :,(

  • OMG! Does this bring back memories! I was a freshman in high school in 84 in Miami, and I watched every game that year! I had started to follow the Dolphins when they went to SuperBowl vs. the Redskins two years before. By the time Marino and his "Marino Corps" and the "Marks Brother's" tore up the NFL in 84, I became a lifelong fan! I still follow the Dolphins even though there bad this season.Hopefully they'll be competitive again soon like they were in 84.Thanks for the trip down memory lane

  • the right arm of god.

  • Ain't that the truth...

  • Thanks a lot for posting this.

  • Dan Marino is on my Madden 12 Ultimate team, he's the best Qb int he game, on top of that I have Jerry Rice, Larry Fitsgerald, and Megatron, can I be stopped?

  • @HOscalerules You're in trouble then, 'cuz my D is killer: Troy Polamalu and Ed Reed at SS and FS; Deion Sanders and Rod Woodson on the corners. Ain't nobody passing on me, son.

  • @daTruChosen Please, that's the shittiest D I ever heard of I got Deion Sanders, Revis, Nhamdi, Woodson. and Troy. You can't pass on me. and try running, you run into a mix of Ray lewis and patrick willis with a little ngata mixed in with some LT. So get your shitty tesm outa here!

  • Best ever hands down!!

  • Yes the mark brothers did not get enough credit.

  • as a jets fan that hates the dolphins i think dan marinos the best qb of all time

  • Did anyone see Clayton kick the ball back up to himself at 6:54 while at top speed? HOLY FUCK.

  • Clayton and Duper they were amazing.... THEY WERE NOT... THE BALL JUST landed in the numbers ( thanks to Marino)

  • @sergiotico13 Yes, Duper & Clayton were very good, but not great. Nat Moore was great

  • seems that every touchdown has one thing in common....dan marino is a split second away from being drilled...how in the hell did he do it with that offensive line?

  • too great, pure passer, id say he's top 5, brady being number 1

  • @whizzkidd12 Marino was never a part of cheating teams like Brady. Sorry, Brady doesnt compare to Marino.

  • @whizzkidd12 not to be argumentative...but can you give me one reason you'd consider brady the best ever?

i bet i know what that reason is...but.....it's an 11 on 11 game...besides the same old argument...please give me one reason brady is the best, in your eyes

  • @whizzkidd12 Brady has nothing on Marino. One Marino was a pussy he didn't cry and leave for months at a time from one sack, Marino got hit a would get right back up. Back then there were no pussies on the football field like todays game. Belicheat brings Brady's name down because of his cheating ways, and Marino is head over heels better than Brady 110% better.

  • Mark Clayton def helped out Marino on the TD record.. a nice combination like this leads to good results.. Its like Brady to Moss.. except they were both better

  • saludos desde mexico, Dan Marino era el mejor, manning es gay

  • awesome video. Im so grateful for youtube. I was too young to see this stuff when it happened. so thank you to whoever posted these videos.

  • GREATEST PUREST PASSER OF ALL TIME.

  • Where's ray finkle?

  • @slapmesilly99 lol back with ace ventura, best movie ever!

  • This is just incredible. As a sick freak 'Phins Phan...I enjoy re-living all the memories!!!

    thanks for posting this!!!!!

  • Clayton is so fast !

  • Greatest EVER, 'nuff said !

  • there's no doubt his release was unbelievable but I must say his accuracy is equally impressive to me.

  • did the dolphins ever run in any touchdowns?

  • @PowerRangers12345 Hint: the title of the video is 'Dan Marino all 48 TD passes'. Therefore any running TDs would not be on this video.

  • @jrdurr2 no, i know that, i was just asking because these are 48 touchdowns... most teams score 48 touchdowns in a season and some teams are even lucky to score more. Actually a lot of teams score less.

  • @PowerRangers12345 Ah, no worries. My bad - I get your point. And you are correct too!

  • @PowerRangers12345 They still rushed for 18 TDs that year ON TOP of the 48 passing. That was an amazing offensive team.

  • @Potandthekettle seems crazy though...judging from this video..that offensive line was horrible..

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 Obviously they werent horrible. Stats dont lie

  • @Potandthekettle oh really? statistically emmitt smith is the greatest running back of all time...i'd say that's an instance of stats lying.. they were horrible, but dan marino is just that good at getting rid of the ball, and making an accurate throw...because he's one of the greatest ever. watch the video..he's a tenth of a second away from getting drilled almost every time

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 Emmit Smith had the benefit of a great Oline not to mention he had great vision. The dolphins didnt have anyone near emmit smith. That proves even more how great that O-line was back then. I think you're confusing the dolphins of later yrs with this team. They had very good blockers, just not the backs to compensate in the SB

  • @Potandthekettle that's not the point...the point is stats do lie sometimes, emmitt is not the greatest ever, and while the dolphins o line may have been statistically sound during this 84 season, i'm going to bet that it's marino making them look a lot better than they are (like big ben does in pittsburgh) because in almost all of these passes, there is someone in the backfield almost as quick as the ball

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 Thats a ridiculous argument. You cant compare the Oline of one season to a guy's entire career. gimme a break. they had a great line with no star running back which is why they ran so well that year. end of story

  • @Potandthekettle what the hell are you talking about entire career? i'm saying that in this season (the only one i mentioned) despite the fact that they may have been highly ranked statistically...they fucking sucked this year

at least when it comes to pass blocking..because almost all of these td's feature a defensive player in the backfield right around the same time the ball gets there.if you are an 84 dolphins fan, and this is making you sore, i apologize..but the video says the line sucked

  • @Potandthekettle you were comparing o lines, and i don't know why..all i said is that stats lie sometimes, but you somehow twisted that in to a comparison of o lines, when all i said was that emmitt smith is STATISTICALLY the best rb of all time, but not even close when you look at reality... which is a counter point to your ridiculous claim that "stats don't lie' the only ridiculous arguments are coming from your end sir

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 And a comparison of a guy''s career statistically to one season's production is just stupid in context of saying "stats lie" gimme a break. They had a great rushing season. If it was all because of marino's arm then EVERY YEAR they should have had great rushing seasons. They obviously didnt. My comment on "stats dont lie" is in context of THAT YEARS RUSHING TOTAL. Compare that year to other years, why werent they as successful? DUH, they had a good oline

  • @Potandthekettle ok..there is a strong possibility that you are clinically insane. this video shows all 48 touchdown passes...i fairly significant portion of their scoring plays...i also made it very clear, although you chose to ignore it for your own stupid reasons, that they MAY have had a good rush block..but the pass block sucked, i don't know why this is offending you so much....

you said stats don't lie...i said they do sometimes...and you nitpick that? wow..

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 I'm clinically insane? I'm not the idiot basing on a PASSING TD video how bad an oline looks RUSHING the football. LMAO

  • @Potandthekettle there you go again..the true sign of an insecure person.. no genius YOU were talking about the run game..that was YOUR argument as to why they were a good o line...yes...its' confirmed, you're fucking nuts...just go back and read your own comments, i'm not going to keep saying the same thing over and over again because you are too slow to get it...or choose to ignore it, whatever it is....the facts are the facts...their pass blocking sucked...

  • @Potandthekettle

since i'm a helper, i will help you along, i wouldn't want you to over work yourself

your first comment was..."Obviously they werent horrible. Stats dont lie" my response was a random example that sometimes they do,are you still with me? ok, next we have "They had very good blockers, just not the backs to compensate in the SB" here is where YOU turn the conversation toward running the ball...got that? YOU then for some strange reason, your next comment was

  • @Potandthekettle but i do recommend you continue to twist people's words around so that you feel like you "won" something.. i'll tell you what doesn't lie..although i'm sure you'll come up with some ridiculous answer to this as well, and that's video evidence...you can't dispute or refute it...for the final time, almost every play showed, featured a defensive player in the backfield very soon after the ball was snapped...i don't know why this is so confusing to you.. some advice though..

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 WTF does a defensive player in the backfield have to do with RUSHING THE BALL? WHAT IN THE FUCKING WORLD? ARe you just fucking with me with some extravagant style of trolling? LOL

  • @Potandthekettle if you're being dumb...don't call the other person dumb...it makes you look...well..dumb

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 You really cant admit you fucked up on a sucha stupid ass argument can you. AGAIN, you are criticizing the Oline's rush blocking ( you responded to my post on the rushing stats) LOL What part of this do you NOT understand? Youre hilarious!

  • @Potandthekettle hahahahaha wow...you're awesome...keep doing what you do lol...so you can't go back and read what YOU said and see that what i said was a response to what you said? hahahahahaha you're cute

  • @Potandthekettle the "since i'm a helper" comment goes first...i accidentally responded to myself...it's called admitting your mistake...you should try it

  • @Potandthekettle next we have "They had a great rushing season." and "THAT YEARS RUSHING TOTAL. "

again..this is YOU bringing up rushing...are you still with me? i had answered with this.."at least when it comes to pass blocking.." which is getting back on the REAL topic, not the one you created...or the one you accused me of creating, even though i didn't

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 And to just say "judging from this video" and think that somehow supports your argument is just dumb to begin with.

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 since i'm a helper, i will help you along, i wouldn't want you to over work yourself

your first comment was.."Obviously they werent horrible. Stats dont lie" my response was a random example that sometimes they do...are you still with me? ok....next we have "They had very good blockers, just not the backs to compensate in the SB" here is where YOU turn the conversation toward running the ball...got that? YOU then for some strange reason, your next comment was

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 WRONG, the conversation started with YOU responding to MY comment which was simply posting stats on how many TDs they RAN which was a response to SOMEONE ELSE. Everything else after that is garbage

  • @Potandthekettle you're somewhat right, but mostly wrong..my response, or observation, was not intended to offend you, but you cried about it like a little girl...it said "judging by the video, that o line sucked" but you took offense to it, as if you worked your whole life to be a member of the 84 dolphins o line, then started spouting ridiculous bullshit about their running attack (which you accused me of doing by the way) you chose to answer with your bullshit..i didn't make you

  • @Potandthekettle but it was cool how you could go back to see the one thing that i said that was wrong, but missed all 10 of your own....that's cute...but still the best you can come up with is 3rd grade insults...it shows the intelligence i'm dealing with here...you have no answer for anything, and when you're stumped, you make up something that didn't happen...you really are a politician ( a bad one at that) but hey, i'm glad that you pointing out that i responded to you first gets you out

  • @Potandthekettle of having to answer for any of the retarded comments you made in your "defense" i will take being called a most asshole of a troll, if the person that calls me that is a fucking moron...if you had anything relevant to say...it could have offended me...but...such is life...sorry i offended your boyfriend/dad/uncle/favorite team by pointing out that the o line sucked at pass blocking...i have extra tissues if you need them..

  • @Potandthekettle on top of that, my original comment was completely innocuous...but you wished to run with it, because i touched a nerve with you...the defender of all things teal and orange, probably one who would defend sporano and henne

i wasn't a troll, but typing back and forth with you makes me want to be one, because there is great pleasure in pissing morons off, and i'd say i've done well

but more importantly..do you have ANY answers to what i've said? or should you focus on one trivial

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 Wow, what a load of bullshit that has nothing to do with your idiotic original comment which you still havent been able to defend lol

  • @Potandthekettle could you be a little more specific? Or...you could just keep rambling on. What is there to defend exactly? Do you actually have a point, or do you just feel like being "heroic"?

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 heroic? lol I'm just pointing out that you're a douche to start shit with someone that didnt merit it. Talk about rambling on! LMAO You typed 3 full paragraphs of garbage that had nothing to do with the argument to begin with. Nice job troll boy

  • @Potandthekettle so...are you retarded, or do you call it special? Don't but in? You replied to me. Your reply didn't apply to me...but you did it. I responded. So..I will ask one more time..what is the "point" you are trying to make?

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 This post makes 0 sense at all.Learn to write a coherent sentence and I'll get back to you

  • @Potandthekettle I tried writing...unfortunately, keyboards are the only way to go on my computer.

Don't worry, my fragile ego makes me try to discredit anything that makes me feel insecure too. (just kidding, I'm not a little girl, I was just trying to make you feel better)

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 I've already made my point. You're a troll. Its been proven just by reposting your original comment. End of story.

  • @Potandthekettle so, no point to be made? Alright then. I will ask one more time, if you have a point, please present it.

Any point would be good. You could make the point that I'm a "troll", you could try to make a point of how I am trying to "deflect the exposure" (I won't point out the stupidity of that statement, don't worry) Maybe you could make a point of how a comment I made was idiotic, and then point out which comment it was. Your choice. Don't worry, no expectations

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 I've already done that. ARe you fucking stupid or something? Oh thats right, YOURE TROLLING

  • @Potandthekettle so, about that point. What is it? You got to be pretty crazy to say something is a lie when it is an observation based off watching this video. I'm sorry if you or a family member was on this line, and you feel it is your duty to defend them, but the video says that on almost all of his TD passes, he's a step away from getting decked.

my "page" says it all? what does it say exactly? What does your blank one say about you? Don't worry, you don't have to tell me

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 aaaaaaaawww poor little guy cant make a point without ignoring or using a pathetic strawman to make an argument. so sad

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 lol hilarious you are running away from the argument talking about marino's td passes and avoiding your exposed idiocy at all costs. keep it coming. Your grave is getting deeper and deeper.

  • @Potandthekettle wow, I firmly believe you are retarded. You still don't even know what your argument is. Please, for the love of god, make a point or shut the fuck up. You can keep rambling on and on and on and on as much as you want. Make your point, and prove how my observation based on this video is incorrect, or shut the fuck up.

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 Obviously you cant read. Shall I repeat it for the 4th time now? You said based on the video the oline sucked. I said the stats and performance for the year says otherwise and in reality, your observation is meaningless. then you went on a rant about stats and emmitt smith as if it supported your observation of the video. Which is a severely stupid argument What part of that do you NOT understand.

  • @Potandthekettle Lol. It still comes down to me making an observation, only on the video, followed by your sore vagina, which triggered your civic duty to defend all things Dolphin o-line. At first I thought I missed something, because of all your senseless ramblings. Turns out I didn't, and your point is just as dumb as I remembered it.

Sweet! Good job!. Gotta say, it's a little weird that after three months you still haven't gotten over it.

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 Yup, all I did was point out the fact that you made a stupid observation and you actually tried to defend that very same stupid observation and you continued to do so for a long long long time. Sooooo whats YOUR point? lol

  • @Potandthekettle lol. not sure if you're joking or just completely insane. I'm glad you feel so passionate about it though. As far as continuing to defend my CORRECT observation...ever think maybe it's fun to keep nut jobs like you going? In fact, what I was actually "arguing" with you over is your crazy idea that your stats somehow proved your imaginary point. Just say "I was bored, and I'm sensitive about my team". Save yourself.

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 lol And you think MY point was dumb to point out your stupidity which you extended for all that time? Well golly geepers!

  • @Potandthekettle Congratulations...the offensive line may not have been horrible despite the fact that this video shows him under extreme pressure. Hopefully that was your good deed in life that got you over the hump and in to heaven. The 84 Dolphins thank you!

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 no no, save YOURSELF the waste of time by not posting stupid shit (emmitt smith, stats)as a response to something that it does''t even apply to just because you want to win a pointless argument.

  • @Potandthekettle lol...do they know you escaped?

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 exactly, you have no valid response to that because you know you fucked up. Accept it and move on.

  • @Potandthekettle lol, you are hilarious. I have no valid response to yet another of your senseless ramblings..you're correct. You're pretty much retarded. I will refresh your memory though, because of your special needs. From this video, their offensive line sucks. Nothing more needs to be said. From this video, their offensive line sucks (in case you didn't get it the first 5 times.) From this video, their offensive line sucks.

    Fight the good fight! lol

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 Why do you keep repeating the same thing? You sound like a retard. I already told you about 20 times now it was your stupid ass stats comment with emmitt smith and your ensuing nonsensical rant. You're either really stupid or severely in denial to the point of turning yourself fucking retarded. Grow up douchebag

  • @Potandthekettle Because you obviously don't get it. I'd ask you the same question, but I have a feeling your answer will be to something completely unrelated that wasn't asked. I have already stated the point of the everything after the part where your vagina got sore and felt the need to fight to the death for the O line's honor.

Grow up is funny as well, especially coming from someone who's best offense is childish insults.

Last time. From this video, their o-line sucks

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 Apparently its both

  • @Potandthekettle Oh..never mind. i get it, your slow brain is just catching up to a comment I made three months ago. Sweet!. Glad you finally came around. Of course, nothing you said ever meant anything, and everything I said was based solely on the video I watched..but whatever. Good job hero! Go Miami!

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 And this last comment of yours is more proof of your trolling attempts continuing because you know you made a mistake responding with an idiotic comment to start all of this to begin with.

  • @Potandthekettle so, you don't have a point then? Any time you'd like to let the rest of the class know what it is, I'm all ears (eyes). Also, and explanation for why your brain takes three months to react..would also be pretty sweet.

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 yaaaaaaaaaaawn....

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 And do I really need to explain that I havent responded to nor have I made any comments in the past few months until recently? Not really necessary is it? Now youre just trying to deflect the exposure of your douchebag trolling. pathetic

  • @Potandthekettle It certainly is not necessary, but it would help explain what caused you to pop that tampon. So, one more time (and I know this is a lot to ask). What is your point? What is it that you wish to "prove"?

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 I've already quoted your dumb comment and exposed your lie on top of it. What other point do you want besides that and that you're a troll? Hell your "page" says it all. lol

  • @Potandthekettle I'll just wait for your book. "Everything you need to know about someone based on their Youtube page, and whining about someone's observation based on a video" Should be a big hit

  • @banklikefrankwhite1 Next time, dont butt into a conversation you have 0 knowledge of douchebag.

  • @Potandthekettle comment? i'm betting the latter

  • Wow, you are the most asshole of a fucking troll on youtube. Go fuck yourself

  • @PowerRangers12345 They had 18 rushing touchdowns that year, but a lot of them were goal line probably

  • they didnt have 2

  • if they only had a defense for this season....

  • Clayton and Duper were pocket rockets - way under-rated! Magical time to be a fins fan. As for Marino - what a passer - no other player like him

  • His release is a blur. Look at all the false starts. I guess that was a tactic, and not a rule yet.

  • Thank your dad for us!

  • Cool video!

  • Whoever disliked this video must be a Jets fan. :P

  • I would do anything to have Marino in his prime suited up for the dolphins next season....anything!

  • I would do anything to have Marino in his prime suited up for the dolphins next season....anything!

  • Nice one dan you were the man. Two great wide recievers in clayton and duper too.

  • Fabulous job.

  • Okay I know this is a video about Marino, but damn, we got to give it up to Clayton and Duper they were amazing....

  • Man that release is the most awesome I've ever seen

  • Man, Aaron rodgers has a quick release but Marino just looks different. He's freakin awesome.

  • great work jrdurr! brings back memories....and to think I didn't want Miami to draft Marino.....haha.. shows you what I know

  • greates ever

  • @jrdurr2-Your father did a great job, there's only one other person I'm aware of that has almost every Dolphins game ever. He sells all of his td's throughout his career on dvd in Ebay for starting auction price of $20. Most of the touchdowns are the tv announcers actual calls of the td's. He also sells individual Dolphins games on his website ronsworldofmiamidolphins.weebly.com,going back to early 70's to present. I like the way your dad uses the radio calls, this was every bit as difficult.

  • great job !! a real sports fan !

  • Not a Pats fan by any stretch of the imagination, but they should wear the red ones like in this video, same goes for the Bills. Both of those teams navy blue uniforms are hideous.

  • Great memories!!!

  • By the way, great job!!! How in the world did you put this all together like this?

  • @lazerlazer - I have to give credit to my father. He's been taping Dolphins games since the early 80s and put all of this together on VHS back then - including overdubbing the radio call. He was way ahead of his time!

  • Why use overdubbing of radio calls? Why not use the television play-by-play?

  • @jrdurr2

Thats pretty bad ass that your dad did that.

  • @jrdurr2 I wish there was a film like this of all of Ken Stabler's Touchdown passes in a season. 1974, 1976, or even 1979.

  • @jrdurr2 Many thanks to you and your father -- this is awesome!

  • I was a senior at Pitt when Dan was a Freshman. I was friends with quite a few people on the football team and they told me this story. All of the quarterbacks got together to see who could throw the furthest. everyone of the quarterbacks ran up to the goal line and threw the ball. The furthest one went 50 yards. Now remember, Dan was a Freshman. He actually stood on the goal line , didn't run up to it, and threw it 60 yards in the air. Players also complained he threw it too hard.

  • now we barely make 48 touchdowns in two seasons as a whole team combined.

we need a dan marino to go along with our amazing defense

  • Greatest passer ever. Defenses feared him and game planned against him with little regard for the rest of the team. He had no running game. Their defense was slow. I was present at all but 2 of his Dolphins home games - and it was always a thrill. He was as competitive as an NFL player could be. It is a shame he did not win a Super Bowl. Shula teams in the 80s and 90s always overachieved and never had a top 8 pick in the 1st Round of the NFL Draft during the Marino years as a result.

  • with NO running game and NO defense. Favre had the benefit of the leagues top rated defense and a very strong running game. Not a Dolphins fan, but Dan was amazing!

  • @drbayoms YES SIR!!!!!!!!!

  • i love the dolphins so much

  • you guys should think for a second on a different way, if you knew when a kid was drafted he was the best quarterback to ever play, he had the most overall talent and mental ability, there is a good chance that the best quaterback would never win a superbowl so with that in mind greatness of a quarterback is not based on championship rings but also not any numbers which are too often very arbritrary in pro football, it is how well the players plays winning football, unlike Orton Marino won games

  • shame he has NO rings

  • @Bry101 are you stupid??

  • @amazin465

no. He has no rings and it's a shame. Seems like a logical comment.

  • @Bry101 why not? he won a superbowl. i guess im being ignorant but i really dont know =/

  • @amazin465 well it seems like your stupid, it is a shame, he never won a superbowl but he is the best QUATERBACK not with the best team

  • @GunsNRoses1sthobo now you are the dumass. he won the 1972 superbowl. perfect season. idiot.

  • @amazin465 go to another video and get your facts right his rookie season was in 1983 he never won a super ,i bet you feel pretty stupid callin me an idiot
