This news was recd. by us from our immediate neighbour and is NOT SPAM or some rumour We still do not know the cause of his death- we are awaiting news, as its too late right now in Vancouver , we have not contacted our neighbour , as we are presently in another country. We live in the same gated community Cedar Ridge -This is not malignant news- Its saddened us immensely
Canada, and Mapleridge has lost a good friend- Mike died Tuesday 15th Nov 2011, and we were sent the news from our neighbour - he was our neighbour and a good man. Our family and our neighborhood families will miss him dearly-God bless his soul
We sure will miss this big guy. Mike was a close friend to our family and his love for boxing made everyone who thought they couldn't do something think twice. Mike was a great boxer and loved every second of his training and all the excitement that came with it. Mike and Robbie made a great team. He will be greatly missed....... We love you MIKE!!!!!!

I've met Mike several times, and I've always found him to be a regular guy.
He does present a real intimidating presence, but a real gentleman always willing to talk about the fighting sports.
I'm a fan.
