Oh, god, Zazu has to be the best designed character ever. He's a human, but he plays a bird, but he uses the bird as an avatar instead of being 'part' of him like the rest of the cast. It's amazing.

@CitrusStrawberry I don't know what the main reason is but I know people complained about it being added in the movie for the Special Edition. They were whining why it was put in there and it was explained it was actually part of the original script but had been cut as it wouldn't have fitted, and Iit came from the Broadway musical so I guess they thought it was a bad influence and wanted it taken out. Morons.

Do you know if a London cast recording will be available for purchase? I have the original broadway cast and recently saw the London production, and the talent blew me away1

The only studio cast recording in English is by the original Broadway cast. Additionally, there have been CDs in other languages from productions in Japan, Germany, the Netherlands and France. There was also a live recording of the shows South Africa production in 2007.

Great vocals (even if I can't understand them), and they do all the extra scores missing from the Broadway soundtrack such as the Hyena Inferno section of Be Prepared, and the extra Circle of Life chorus during the reprise after King of Pride Rock.

I seen the Lion King in London back in February. A great adaptation of the movie. It's an amazing show - really got to be seen to be believed and very much worth the 6 hour round-trip train journey from Durham!

I hope that the movie will be released on Blu-ray soon - can't get a hold of the dvd for love nor money!
