From inferring what you said, what else should the MGIB give to Vets? Isn't the MGIB suppose to help pay for college. If someone doesn't want go to college, that's their fault.

Webb-Obama's bill sucks.
You do realize that under the GI bill Obama supports that if you have already been thought college, or if you don't plan to go to college, you get nothing. Did you know with McCain's GI bill to can transfer the benefits to your spouse or children? Funny how you never hear that on the news.
At any rate weeks ago Webb added into the bill on a probationaly trial to add extended benefits to be transfered to family members that McCain wanted.
Hell, a great plan would be to set up new public works projects of a sort (that could also be profitable) and then using the revenue gained from that project afterwards to pay for the college education of the students involved. It's win-win!
The new GI Bill is a much-needed reform, and one has to first wonder why the fuck it took Congress so long to realize we needed a new one. The first GI Bill was set up over 60 years ago!
Btw, if vets can get their college education paid for by gov't, why not other hard-working college students as well?? I mean, after all, gov't loans today just ain't what they used to be. Reagan started the trend of cutting loan spending drastically, screwing over students dramatically.
