Then Blackwater Park was the second album i bought, and this does not prepare you for the immense riffs, growls and general metal of Blackwater Park. Thats a better one to start with to get a proper feel for how Opeth work.

You could feel everything you had done in your life like it could came back, even in your memories. And nothing was more important than to feel alive. I met Opeth in the 2001 and 2003, spent all the two evenings with them before a concert: they can always move my feelings, but I don't feel anything with these two last albums :(
