  • question... do you consider 70 000 yen per month is expensive or cheap? sorry weird question..

  • I would do anything to get to japan!

  • 70,000 yen Is the equivalent of 700 dollars and from the looks of things you landed a pretty good deal (I love kitchen) ^.^

  • That really nice for 70 man a month

  • so 70.000 yens is like $700 to $750 a monh?that not to bad, just like my place here in usa,but i think tokyo more expensive,i love nagoya city,so nice and peacefully and people are great, thanks for posting!!!!!

  • pls refer to the title of the movie

  • Interesting. I did a conversion and came up with about 668.00 US dollars. I would have thought it were pricy to live in Tokyo. What are the average utilites?

  • utils come up to almost $150 a month.

The apartment is 40mins (by train) - to centre of tokyo.

Tokyo is only expensive if you dont do your research, or take the first thing that comes your way.

  • 700 a month considered a super deal in Tokyo. On top of that, they might ask you to pay a few months rent upfront when you move in. I don't know about the utils he said $150, though. Unless some are included in the rent or you spend most of your time out side, $150 a month utils is kinda hard to believe. To be honest. The dollar yen rate changes every 3 hours, so it's always easy to calculate $1.00=100yen (for those are talking about the rate below :-)

  • it pretty cool actually...i like that small tokyo enviroment.

  • thank god i live in california, plenty of land to build my own house..

  • about $700 a month?

actually...that's not too bad, well...utilities are probably not included...

  • Yea that doesnt seem alot at all if you compare it to prices of apartments in the us

  • Hi, I was just wondering, does the tolite tank have a sink built into it? At least thats what it looked like to me. Thanks for your time.

  • Hi. Yes - the water that fills the main toilet chamber first goes into a sink - so if your quick enough - you can wash your hands. I can only assume it's not grey water.

  • Yes. For the only household use toilets, the fresh water comes out from top of the tank that's dual sink-tank like. then the water fills the tank to flush the toilet. It's a cool invention.

  • The style of your apartment reminds me of one I stayed in for 6 months in Okinawa. Is yours a Leo Palace apartment? Having the "kitchen" in the hallway was something I never really got used to, but it was a pretty good apartment for 2 people. Thanks for uploading. なつかしい

  • I think its around 600

  • how much is 70,000 yen in dollars

  • $715-$725

  • its $651. Used a converter.

  • it's about $697 point something something now. the yen has almost caught up to the dollar. the dollar is dying. just wait till they put the "amero" in plave. ~__~

  • edit: place, not plave.

  • same converter, different price now: $672. i guess the price is not always the same solid answer, always changing. XD lol

  • hey budd i googled it and heres what i got.

    70 000 Japanese yen = 693.42 U.S. dollars

  • Now it's at about 654.417 dollars.

  • I think it was well over $280000(yen) - my GF organised everything - I just handed over the cash :(

Plus it's not money you ever see again - it's like a 'arrigato presento' to the new landlord - crok'o'sh*t more like it.

    :(

  • Make a longer one. Get a cat. I like pie.

  • Holy cow you have the nicest apartment I think I've seen so far, lol. Large toilet area = nice.

  • Look around Mizue area - there are some nice ones out there. Just be prepared for the stupid key-money

    :(

    bye

    -Matt

  • How much is that stupid key money?
