I was 13 when I went to Woodstock 94' and during NIN's "closer" I had my first kiss with my girlfriend (I'm a girl actually). I remember we thought of the rainstorm as punishment from heaven for sinning and we sinned until her jaw gave put.

I'm 14 now, thankful that my parents introduced me to this music at an early age and not pop, or sheltered disney music XD

I was in the mud at this show almost all of saturday playing smere the queer with a football til the naked guy guy would grab it. We found a twin mattress and me and another big dude would grab it , start yelling STAGE!!STAGE!! STAGE!! and head for the stage the twin mattress left a 3 foot wide swath of mud. But i was litterally on the fence front row for all 3 of the big bands.

They had a gigantic amount of technical problems because of their pre-show mudbath. Mic's, guitars and keyboards all failed at numerous points. However there were a few songs where everything went off without a hitch.

Remember buying this PPV, there was SO much rain! Everyone's equipment was breaking down. They had to come in between Henry Rollins songs and squeegee the stage off! That any of them weren't electrocuted is amazing. NIN- best show I've ever seen!! :)

@CriticsConfession Not as I recall. Green Day had fun with the mud and Billie Joe Armstrong caught and "ate" the mud someone threw at him (you can search for it as it's on YouTube). They got into a big (rather onesided) mudfight with the crowd. There was a bit of chaos on stage as security couldn't tell (or didn't care to find out) who was in the band and who wasn't; people were getting tackled and carried off, etc. The band didn't wuss out from the onslaught of mud at all. Classic Green Day gig
