get a bunch of friends (alot). get one guy to dress as a cop and run into a random store and be all like "you wont believe this blah blah. zombies!!!" then all the 'zombies' come and everyone shits them selves.
So, what happens is on a certain day of the year, anyone who wants to gets zombiefied and heads to Bardstown Road, a very popular night time scene. There are people placed as victims and the fun ensues.

This is in Louisville, ky every year. Everyone gets together in one location dressed up then walks a mile or so in character to a bar.
