I live in Vegas and they have $5 Value on certain days. The problem is when the movie is in 3D , they charge additional $4 for the glasses....r u kidding? This brings the price costing more than 2D. I wish 3D movies go away.

I saw the new pre-show roller coaster today, IT'S FREEKIN AWESOME! As you might guess, tech advances have made for a cleaner and more detailed look. Instead of a gray "valley" you see what looks like a nighttime cityscape. The "train" has been redesigned also, but it doesn't look as cool as this one, IMHO. The "ride" is unchanged, which will please many. I would have put in some loops, but that's just me. I predict lots of cheers when this blast from the past hits the screen again.

Thanks for posting this! It was great finding this. I work for Regal in the projection room, and I used to see this about 50 times a day....and it NEVER got old!

Here's some news that may interest you: the roller coaster is returning. Sometime in mid-October, they're rolling out a revised and updated version of this policy trailer. How close will it be to this one? Don't know, they haven't divulged that yet, nor have I seen the new one to know. But it IS returning to a theater near you.
