In this verse Allah is speaking about Jesus That he will die. and spiritually raised up to Allah. (Do you think Allah/god live somewhere above?)

The continuous action is in ONE VERSE from birth, dead and raised alive. There is no re-born by Mary and the next action is like any prophets, that is dead - in this case by crucifixion and then raise alive!
