@Sonyoooo3 yes. actually, it can turn off its motors and glide to save energy at night. check out "solar impulse gliding test"

need no fule, just a "sunny day" (and even that may be suprassedwhen flying above the clouds perhaps)

it's not disturbing the people/animals under the flight route - can't be compared to the noise a jet or a hellicopter creates

Really, really cool stuff, and well filmed, I love the stabilised footage from the helicopter of the landing.

Did any one notice they've mirrored the image at 2:47? The text on the headset is reversed...
