Yes and yes. Same as when you first hop into a tail dragger, it takes a bit of getting used to, the Q200 with the really wide stance main gear (and bouncy because it's at the wing tips) and having to bed in and set the brakes is a bit more of a handful. The Dr did get that sorted and yes the plane was flown for a while, but it'd come in a bit too overweight and he couldn't carry enough fuel for the trips that he wanted to do.
I've gotten 5 hr. duration in my Q-200 which is longer than I can sit.

That's a real shame after spending so much time in it's construction. Can anything be modified to get the range?
