I love the black and white photography of this movie. Actually it's more like a dark green and gray than black and white really. The dark green color sort of reminds me of underwater colors, sort of reminds me of the Little Mermaid a bit!

Anyone who is watching this for their GCSE English should know that the film is nothing like the book and you will get hammered for it in your coursework :D

Forgot to say that with the Malcovic productuction that steinbeks widow was on the set and declaired that he would have aproved of this adaptation, remeber the film is just that a biased opinion of the director/writers

Nieve to think that the film will tell the same story as the book. IT NEVER DOES the Malcovich film is the most authentic only transposing chapters 1 and 2 for continuity. Dont forget it is about the american deam. it is also a book about compassion for fellow man and the realisation that dreams cost not only in finacial terms but in human traficking and loss.
