  • The correct name of this scale is phrygian major. It is the 5th mode of the harmonic minor scale; however, this is a very interesting approach that i will try.

  • Hey... yeah you are right there is more than one name for this scale...The Phrygian (natural 3) is indeed the 5th mode of the Harmonic Minor Scale... That is for the more advanced muscians that are into music theory..But this scale is commonly known in jazz as the Spanish or Jewish Scale...
