I'm surprised that they had the nerve to sing American Woman in Seattle or in the states at all . Didn't the audience not understand that the song is anti American . Oh well it's still a good song and a great live album .
Best live album I've heard! Great material & a treat to hear Kurt Winter's live guitar... Cummings is still touring in his sixties & sounds almost the same now as then and even more fluid on the keyboard. He could easily tour with high end jazz combos & more than hold his own. Great posting! Thanks!
Hey 8VIRELENDA8 ... love this album...got it from my parents collections years ago..really listen to the second side with American Woman and Truckin ... these tracks were available online but eventually the searching became to hard and frustrating...with copyright notes and such...I will enjoy your offering until it is gone...no LP player anymore so just crank the computer...this is good!
I was at this concert in Seattle. The absolute best I have seen in my life. Where have almost 45 years gone? Just so friggin cool to relive this. Thanks so much for posting this. Burton is the most influential sing, composer, and performer of my lifetime. At the time of this recording, his best years were still ahead of him. Who'd of thunk that?
@55ou812 I wore out the 8 track, the cassette, the LP, and I'm working on the CD. I like this live album even better than the ones by Steppenwolf or Peter Frampton.
wow this brings back some memories, still just as good as ever, kids of today dont know what they missed, makes me feel sorry for them ,and a lot of todays bands try to copy the originals ,funny that
Cool!! The shows were Sun 5/21/72 & Monday 5/22. Tickets were free, given away at stores around the Seattle area. I got mine for the Monday show at Jeans West in Lynnwood, Wa. It was the day before my girlfriend's 16th birthday.....maybe she'd want to get together for my 60th birthday next Monday?
i was hooked after i heard this album!

@mpjgbxHe does sound like he'd been ripped for about 4 or 5 days, apparently that isn't real far from the truth either.
