There was just somthing on the news about the death of Flower. The producers of Meerkat Manor said that they didnt want to help Flower becuase they "could" mess up the animal kingdom. I think that is horrible and they should have saved her.
They are there to study them, not ensure their survival.
Think of the logic of "saving flower" anyway..They would have had to grab the cobra before it went into the hole. And it would be ludacris to suggesting killing the snake like so many overly emotional fans suggested.
Sorry to break it to you folks but Flower is a character in a book, and the t.v. production is a compilation of 15 different meerkat tribes. The Flower you watched on t.v. didn't exist ... no more than Babe the pig.

When ever a mercat dies on that show i cry but knowning how wonderful Flower was and that she died trying to save her pups made me fall apart and i very much dislike the snake that bit her but I know Rocketdog will flolow in her foot steps and be a great leader. I dont think Ill ever get ty over Flower dieing. I think it's so funny how we all become so attached to these little characters that never say a word, but still manage to capture hearts and make us sad when they are no longer with us. Listen you if you had half the brain you'd realize these are meerkats acting by instinct. Mozart was not driven to suiside, its natural for meerkats to evict older daughters so they can either learn not to have pups and come back or meet up with Rovers to start a new mob. its the way they work. WOW...I am really Bummed. People have not read all of this. I LOVE these Sweet Meerkats. I was irritated at that Brillo for saying we were wasting our time mourning Flower! He even apologised. He shouldn't come to this sort of Video just to say bad things about US. He did on more than one of these Tributes...I got mad at him. This is a Beautiful Tribute that still makes me cry when I see it. All of them do. Sorry if this was taken out of context.

Toscaforever...You didn't read all of what I replied to.I was DEFENDING the Meerkats when Brillo was saying WE are wasting our time crying for the Meerkats...we shouldn't care for them when people are dying all over the world. I care more for the Animals than most people. I hope you will re-read all that was written...Thomas55 too. I will never get over loosing Flower or her daughters. If people could only be that BRAVE and Caring, it would be an example to ALL of us.

My mother adores this show! I heard all about Flower's death thru a tearful phone call. I think it's so funny how we all become so attached to these little characters that never say a word, but still manage to capture hearts and make us sad when they are no longer with us. Thanks for the sweet video, I am sending it to my Mom. =0)

I was very shocked and upset when Flower died. I have some trouble believing she's really gone. This video is very wonderful and I love it very much. By the way, does anyone know when the movie about Flower is coming out? I really want to see that movie.

Listen you if you had half the brain you'd realize these are meerkats acting by instinct. Mozart was not driven to suiside, its natural for meerkats to evict older daughters so they can either learn not to have pups and come back or meet up with Rovers to start a new mob. its the way they work. Flower was onl doing what was best for the mob, nobody should be happy any life was taken away
