Hey guys awesome video haha, i got a question, I don't longboard yet but I really want to get one this summer. I'm thinking of getting a krackedskull but I'm not sure. My friend says I can just go to the swap meet and get a good one customized. But I don't know if he knows what he's talking about. What is a really good board that can be up to $200? And one that has griptape that comes with it, because that's the only reason I don't want a krackedskulls, cause I don't know how to tape it up.

@thepielord26 Taping it up isn't hard at all, just buy the grip, and it's like a sticker. You can find videos on how to do it, it is surprisingly easy. But good board companys include Landyachtz, Comet, Earthwing, neversummer, and fullbag. There are a lot more other good board companies but these are my pick. For trucks I would go for some Randal 180mm 50 degree. Venom bushings. You'll learn about bushing combos as you skate. And Abec 11 and Orangatang are good wheel companies!

@Mattmeo11 The dervish is great! I'd say get some Paris trucks, 180mm if you plan on speeds around 35mph or 195mm if you plan on getting up to 40-45mph. I wouldn't wanna go any faster on that board. I would get venom bushings that match your weight. usually 90a barrel cone combos are standard. I weight 145lbs so I'd probably get 87a. I usually ride double barrel 85a boardside and 90a roadside. For wheels get anything 83a!

@themaddog145 Yep! The Evo is pretty cool. You might want to consider the technicality of the board though. It is capable of slides, but the board is so low and you don't have great leverage for sliding. It is just gonna be harder to control on tight courses than your avenger. If you plan on going super fast on a less technical road, then this board will do just fine.

@sk8absence Uhhh just get the dervish first. It can do some okay downhill, but it is good to slide with and to carve with. it'll make you a better downhiller for when you have money for the Evo. Get 83a Durians for the dervish, 86a might be too hard, unless you want a super easy slide. 180mm Paris or Randal trucks are the best for that board.
