why doesn't stupid audicity import .wma audio format? its so frustratng because i have to download 1,000,000,000 audio converter programs that don't even work either. is there anothe program i can use besides audicity? One that can actually import a stupid format?

when i uploaded a vid to windows movie maker, it uploaded as individual frames and there was a lot of them. how did you get yours to be just one file as I saw on your screen there?

It's like I have to drag each single one down and clip them together and it sux!

@djkurse1 I'm not sure why it does that to your video. I've never had that happen to me.  Maybe it's a setting or something.

@djkurse1 It separates them (I think based on light changes). If you click on the first clip in your collections (before it's on the timeline) and hold shift then click the last clip you can drag them all in order to the timeline at once.

Why not just record straight to Windows Movie Maker. Choose your camera as the video capture source and the Mic (where your mixer is plugged into) as your audio source. Eliminate Audacity all together

because the quality of the video isn't that great. I like using my hd camera. I've never tried that, but i'll give it a shot to see how it looks.

I use Sony sound forge and after,I master my mix using compressor tools. such as the Multi band dynamic.makes it sound more clear and not make it audio peak.

i used this method of recording when i had a HP laptop. now i just record from mic input on the SL box. But i still use Audacity(for mac) i use it to cut a long mix into tracks.
