I did the same thing. I bought MW3 and tried to get use to it, but the spawning, the camping, and constant barrage of Elite dlc money grab advertisement's, I finally gave up and went back to MW2 and haven't looked back since. MW2 with all it's flaws still outshines MW3 in my opinion.

@s8tank how are ballistic jackets unbalanced? Items like that encourage players who use rewards that benefit the team as a whole rather than themselves. How are deathstreaks unbalanced? It gives players that are down and out a little break so they can get back in the groove. The new streak rewards system in particular is great, before this game the system ONLY favored people that got good killstreaks. Wanna know balance? Look at Mario Kart. That game is praised for its balance.

Death streaks are unbalanced because they can disadvantage players who haven't even got a kill in the game and then come against a wanker with final stand on and not even get the kill. Mario Kart might have been praised for its balance but had MW3?? Of course fucking not. Its got shit reviews from proper players who have played all cods.

@downphoenix i can understand where you're coming from but death streaks are completely unnecessary, COD4 didn't have them and thats where most of the pro's are still at because thats a simple formula with no over complications, yes team game with support package is something thats great in the eyes of some but when you can accumulate a "killstreak" reward when you DIE is not a killstreak now is it? MW3 has potential to be a great game but it requires something like COD4s "PROmod"

@Cappa017 Its not a reward, its something thrown in to offer more challenge to skilled players. Its like rubber banding in Mario Kart, which gives an opportunity to catch up, although its a lesser degree than Mario Kart because COD is more difficult to play, its not like a random n00b gets 11 kills on a deathstreak, the deathstreak goes away after one kill so it not long lasting. Its just intended to help you break a deathstreak, as Killstreak rewards are to help maintain a killstreak.

I was pulling games like 2-24 etc and i didnt need a deathstreak perk to help me get better, if anything i reckon it hinders them and holds them back because they can't develop skills without aid but i do acknowledge your point i just think that if you're gonna be beat someone, beat them based around the games nature not with sympathy gifts from IW but thats my take
