I noticed that you talk about hair scissors vs home or craft scissors. A real hair scissor is a shear with tension adjustments. I know sally does have some but the scissors in your video are just scissors nothing special.

Hey! I think u did an awesome job. Just for future reference, anytime u are cutting your hair it is better that u cut your hair when its straight and not while its curled. That way its easier to cut & u dont have to constantly go over it a million times. Other than that, u rock! :)

Guess what? It dont matter how she does it really, as long as it looks good and isnt gonna damage her hair in the long run. And it looks good, and from what i can tell, shes just cuttin it, so its not damaging. Get over her technique if you dont like it. I tried it this way and my hair now looks fabulous :D

Love your videos! I wanted to ask how you make sure that your hair is even in the back when you clip your ends. I think it's hard to do in a mirror yourself, but I absolutely love either the V shape or rounded look and would like to alternate between the two. But... Taking out bulk is called notching and correct term for scissors is called sheers just a little tid bit

It turned out nicely but wouldnt it be better to do this with clean hair so that it is not greased or "falsely" laying due to weight; thus giving it a true lay when you layer or cut? Just my opinion...That works best for me...But it looks GREAT!

Another reason why you would want t use Hair cutting scissors is cuz when you use other kind of scissors, it can cause you to have split ends and ruin your ends... thats why its VERY important to use proper scissors :)
