@princeofcrunknb thats not true. Songwriters Kandi Burruss and Tameka "Tiny" Cottle, half of fellow Atlanta girl group Xscape, originally intended to record the songs themselves. After playing the record for TLC, the ladies decided to let the group have it, though Burruss and Cottle both contribute background vocals.

no... Tboz isn't even on the track even though it's a TLC song... That deep voice is Kandi from X-cape.

Additional vocals on the background includes Chilli, Tameka Cottle also from Xcape (who co-wrote the song), and Debra Killings, who played bass guitar on the song.

Kevin did a good job with the arrangement to make it sound like it was actually the TLC girls singing.
