Well, pretty good for being a lot older.

But clanners wouldnt scream when death was iminant. They would fight and fight hard untill the end. Screaming before death was seen as a great weakness and damaging to the clans pride. Likewise to ejecting. It was much more honorable to go down with the machine.

Eh, plenty of IS pilots use Clan 'Mechs because they're much better than most IS 'Tech.

As for the Clanner using the Owens, that's unusual but not unheard of.

Particularly if the warrior was in one of the clans that has close relationships with the IS (like Wolf-in-Exile, Nova Cats, or Ghost Bear). Many of the Wolf-in-Exile clanners would trade their clan garrison mech for an IS omni, trading the power of the clan mech for the chance to diversify their weapons load.

That one takes place in 3015 (LOONG BEFORE THE CLAN JUGGERNAUT), so most of the stuff that we 'Tech vets are used to hasn't even been invented yet (sorry, no Madcat/Timber Wolf or CASE Systems, no C3 Computers, and no Vectoring Thrusters).

no, this is based on the original PC game, but i cant tell if the mech the Eridani pilot is using is an Uller or if its supposed to be a Vulture. Though theres no doubt that the Kurita pilot is using a Hackman

As to the owens... it's a stock type mech. Clans don't have much trouble acquiring them.

oh dude, totally. My fav config is full custom. I rip everything out of the chassis and pack every compenent slot with max clan heatsinks. then I fit as many medium or heavy ER lasers as I can without overloading the reactor. I put max armour points on the front of my mech. Once on the field, I link my lasers full or half/half and rush up to enemies and shoot them right in the face. Often it kills them instantly which is good cause then I need about 30 seconds to powerdown and cool lol.

Ha, I get an Annihilator packed full of ER PPC's, double heat sinks, even limited Jump jet capability. It destroyes everything. Had between 6 to 8 ER PPC's. Just find some water and you are golden. Hit the emergancy flush.
