my son had nystagmus develop when he was 5 days old, I don't have video of it, but his eyes would shake, rather quickly, and then trail off to the left, and then correct, my mother in law, who is a massage therapist, worked on him, doing Cranial Sacral treaments and Myofascial Release, for a total of 5 sessions, in about two weeks, and this corrected it completely, he is now 4 and has NO lasting effects from it. My question is, which type of Nystagmus did he have?
I have this type of nystagmus provocated by shift in direction ( turning my head f. i. ) and I am diagnosed with Spinocerebellar Ataxia SCA8

did this person have other (classical) peripheral vestibular symptomps, like vertigo, vomiting, etc?

This patient's complaint is only positional vertigo. No cochlear symptom, no neurological symptom.
