  • yes at 4:20 that's Michael.. naturally hes always had a deeper voice.... but hes always had a huge vocal range.. and could express his music in different ways with his voice.. and with age his voice has only gotten deeper.. for people to think and assume that Michael Jackson was gay.. or a " a women" are completely naive and ignorant.. there is no denying he is a man.. he freakin originated grabing his dick for Gods sake lmao who else can say that?.. what else would he be touching??.

  • he sound like a man the media wicked when he singing he sound masculine anyway for years to me especially live i like the i love you song to elizabeth taylor

  • YES!! GREAT VIDEO--Thanks for this--they didn't want him recognized as a man and really not even a human being--he was portrayed as even outside the human realm (freak)--SO SAD. I tried to watch part 2 but they said I can't--blocked in my country--which is USA. Can you tell me what's up with that? I would so like to see Part 2. Thanks again--great work!

  • It's going to be amazing to see him in the new world beautiful video

  • 5:47, what the hell was he yelling? I have seen the History tour so much, I have seen this military transition from wanna be starting something to they dont really care about us, but I could never tell what this man was yelling right here..

  • 7:54 MJ's face looks so funny.

  • Michael always talked very soft and high so he could save his singing voice.

  • Jacksons higher pitched voice may well be a good proof he was telling the truth about his skin disorders. The mechanisms involved with producing pigmentation are strongly related to the mechanisms involved with testosterone production (I'm *not* saying he was feminine!) , and thus its entirely plausible that since testostrone is what produces the deepening in male voices, he might have had some metabolic fault there. Either way, he had a fucken magic voice so its not exactly a disability.

  • @MrShayneOneill fascinating. thanks for that

  • lol @ Michael Jordan

  • 4:20 Is that really him speaking? It seemed lower than usual :P

  • Excellent video. Honestly, I think Mike abandoned the high speaking voice after the trial. In almost every clip I've seen of him since 2005, his voice was lower. He talked in a lower register a lot in the This Is It film. He still sang pretty high though.

  • @dillydally58 I think his whole image became more feminine after the "Bad era" was because he started to experiment a little more. Michael changed for like each album, as his skin became more ghostly pale. His stylist said that he became more androgynous to how he looked and dressed. Meaning, he didn't categorize his style of dressing into any gender. He was a straight male but he dressed in whatever he liked, no matter what sex it looked. Rockstars do it. They wear eyeliner and lipstick.

  • no one can move like michael...no one can sing like michael...no one can talk like michael...that's just it he was unique in every thing and every way....i love you michael forever and always...thanks for these vids:)

  • I like to say he was A to Z in everything he did :)

  • THIS IS IT PRESS CONFRENCE shows Michael's real voice. That is not E'cas or any other impersonator, if you listen closely, it is him.

  • I think his voice changed in public because of shyness not because he wants to sounds feminine. And I think people needs to end the rumor about him its sad and it's old and childish.

  • i dont believe he changes his voice i think he just has a wide range i mean come on ppl hes not gonna sound like the lil kid from the jackson 5 forever and in moonwalker his book i read that he did not chemically alter his voice and that his voice is jst his god given talent i miss you mj <3

  • I ask my mom is Michael's voice deep or soft she told me his voice is soft when he talks on his movie

  • Michael Jackson's real voice is actually as deep as any other black man of his age and height.. Most of the time he was putting on that high speaking voice in public for some reason that I never understood. Michael's ACTUAL voice is the one in his character in the Ghosts video.

  • @GWRevolution2008 His actual voice (which he used on the phone with friends) was just like how he talked in the Oprah interview or the Bashir interview. For the Mayor he used a "funny" voice that he had developed as a teenager.

  • @jxhensley

I believe so. :) Keep in mind what Michael could do with his voice! He could imitate EVERY SINGLE instrument. :D

  • Michael rocks. I don't listen to what the media says.

  • Don't forget that singers often use a soft whispery and higher voice or a cartoon voice to speak in to preserve their vocal cords. If the cords become at all damaged, then, singers will go for days on end without speaking at all. This is especially true for singers who sing in head voice, which Michael sang in for large portions of all his songs. Michael was on the road touring for very long periods of time, and therefore, most likely became accustomed to preserving his voice while speaking.

  • @sachathecat You make soo much sense.

  • @dillydally58 His effeminate look as you say was mostly because of the makeup he had to use due to his Vitiligo. But if you disregarded the makeup & look at MJ particularly through History up until recent, he in fact became more masculine looking as he got older. I suggest you type & watch vids her on YT titled Mature Michael Jackson.

  • He sounds sexy as hell at 6.07! Great vid:-)

  • @dillydally58 As I demonstrate in the followup video, the press started calling Michael effeminate in the late 1970s.

  • me encanta su risa!!!!!

  • This is called a wide vocal range, which Michael ranks at 3.6. The fact this man can hit notes most women struggle with while retaining the ability to belt the low notes is a gift not a sign of emasculation.

If any of these people took the time to watch Michael in concert would never confuse this man as being asexual or any variation thereof. In fact most of his routines portray a very Alpha Male persona which some people think is much too macho/sexual.

  • He can be MY alpha male ANYYYYYYYYYYY day....

  • @mjYanaGirl I agree, watching a few of his routines or performances paint a very different picture of the asexual or virgin being taunted by the media. In fact all you need to do is read his lyrics & listen to his songs, the fact that he can woe, caress, or seduce through singing shows an experience behind it. the fact that his very own written lyrics are usual sexual, seductive or aggressively male is another. As for his dancing, that speaks for itself no?

  • Ok, I agree with you and I understand the point of this video. I think it's important to remember that people make fun of celebrities. Period. That's just the way it is. Michael's "high pitched" voice was an easy way to make fun of him and turn him into a caricature. It can be funny (when Eddie Murphy does it in Delirious and Raw) and it can also be hateful (almost any other time anyone else does it) lol....but his voice was the very least of his troubles with the media...

  • Could anyone possibly tell me what is the title of the song that starts at 9:40. I love it and I get crazy I don't know what it is.

  • "Tabloid Junkie"

  • Thanks a lot jxhensley. The refrain is kind of sentimental, don't you think? It's beautiful. Thank you once more.

  • 6.00. Love it xD <33

  • High voice, low voice ... doesn't matter. Michael was a revolutionary legend in the music industry - and always will be. He will never be forgotten for all the great things he did for the world and its inhabitants. And regardless of which voice variation he used, he was ALWAYS HOT!!! (Sorry, but I couldn't refrain from throwing that last comment in! LOL)

  • He never would have ended up in court if the media hadn't spend all those years brainwashing the public about his sexuality and gender. He wouldn't have been humiliated and abandoned. In that sense, it matters a lot.

  • Not necessarily. The allegations would've likely come, regardless. Those people just wanted to get some money out of it.

  • They might have come, but I don't think they would have stuck like they did.

  • Maybe, maybe not. Bu they only stuck with people who were tabloid whores. At any rate, nice vid!

  • thanks!

  • Thank you.

  • bless you for showing this
