@Telusion I think Blizzards worst choice ever was to create different versions of the same raids raids. for example: litch king 10-man, litch king 25-man, litch king 10 and 25 heroic... I mean wtf... Raids should only be available at a superior difficulty as it was before, the whole idea Deathwing and LK can be 10-manned is still lame to me and I hate it to this day... they should have kept 10 man raids and 25 man raids separate, coz this is just retarded...

I remember the time when Sk gaming made world first. They pwned Nihilum(now Ensidia). I watch this for 1000 times sinse 2008 and still tremble everytime when I hear their screams. This is epic.

can someone explain in detail in why World of Warcraft is getting worst? I started 1 and a half months ago and already hit 85 and I found it to be really fun.
@Killahurtz260 Cause of Vanilla ( wow before any expansion release) and TBC raids. They were hard. Also there was no such thing that paladin, shadow priest and hunter can cast that spell which regenerates mana. In that days only spriests could do it. Now many spells are same for different classes( mana regenerating spells, or lke only priests cast shit loads of good AoE healings) ETC. Anyways not plaing for like 2-3 years , so im not updated now.
@Killahurtz260 From a guy that touched WoW when it was in Alpha: WoW isn't bad right now. The nostalgia is so strong in any game. People might remember the blackrock mountain ganks, the enourmous (literally 500v500) battles in southshore v tarren mill etc, but people also tend to forget how rogues were OP for over a year and a half, how many bugs there were, how certain raids were undoable because of how hard they were (yes undoable) etc. continue in next comment~.
@Killahurtz260 Outside of those things, there was also how big and pretty unexplored it was. shit like wowhead and stuff didn't exist back in early times. people didn't know how to level effeciently, things were much slower and more methodical and stuff you got was earned through a mass amount of time spent into that thing. having epics at 60 wasn't something everyone could have, there was a sense of an achievement in a once very hard and VERY timeconsuming game (still is timeconsuming tho)

@rinleez He/she is probably saying this because you can pretty much get full raid gear just by running heroics. Now, don't get me wrong, raiding isn't just about the gear but most people don't think like true raiders. Back then, you had to go through every tier of content before going to the next one. I completely understand where they're coming from by saying raiding had meaning then.
@MasterReynard Raiding is all about competing with the other guilds. No matter how easy raiding is now, there are always guilds better than yours you want to beat.
@rinleez I can agree with that. But not that many people have that mindset. Most just want to experience the content and get gear as an award. Or down that boss that has eluded them for so long. The feeling of accomplishment is the true drug and that's what keeps people raiding.
@MasterReynard Don't make us laugh you fucking moron. You can't waltz into heroic Firelands encounters with gear you pick up in heroic 5 mans. That's the typical response of some scrub who can't handle current content. You'd have to be a complete fucking idiot to think that Vanilla and BC raids were harder than what's currently available. All the top guilds have even said H Rag and most of the other shit in Cata and Wrath are the hardest encounters they've done.

No dungeon finder, no raid or dungeon maps, you leveled way slower, mounts were 1000 gold which is equivalent to 70,000 today. play vanilla before you think its easy u fuckin scrub. oh and u didnt have dual talents, spec specific gear, and no gems. The encounters were way harder too. I and many others on my server already have the legendary staff. not rlly legendary like hand of rag since its so easy to obtain

@Bhomein You are complete dumbass if you think Naxx 40 is harder than heroic FL. There's probably 3 or 4 times as many fight mechanics in every encounter today compared to Vanilla. Not to mention with only 25 people you can't have 10 people slacking ass like you could in a 40 person raid.

@Dvheyden1 Heroic raids are NOT easy. Ragnaros 25 man HC was, according to a member of paragon, the hardest boss WOW has ever had. Normal modes are kind of easy but certainly not the hardmodes.

If you ask me, screw HM/norm/10men, it should all be like in Vanilla and BC, only one way to go. I'm not debating the four horsemen or c'thun being harder, I'm clearly stating a fact, sunwell was hard, and the hardest raid in its entirety. Regardless of having advantages such as vent, DBM and many other addons, sunwell was hard, and blizz wanted that. Cata is not easy, most of you saying it is probably wont kill heroic rag. But that being said no cata raid nor future will ever be as hard as the sunwell in its entirety, because blizzard don't want that. Just enjoy the content and the game.
I'm seeing a lot of QQ about which boss is harder blah blah blah, cata is easy blah blah blah. I killed KJ server first on my server, spend months alone wiping to M'uru, seen the 3 next best guilds to ours disband during Sunwell progression. It was designed to be hard, it was designed to take a lot of time to clear. It was designed as a slow progression upgrading loot over lengthy time to buy time for wotlk. And blizz said they will NEVER make a raid that challenging again.
What? Level 70's killed the 2nd most powerful being in the burning legions ranks that was ALSO BEING POWERED BY THE SUN WELL? So he wasn't JUST Kil'jaeden. He was Kil'Jaeden with power of the Sun Well. Right. Glad everyone forgets this blunder by Blizzard
@RebirthWoWGuild Lorewise levels don't matter, it's more considered that the most powerful warriors in the world defeated Kil'jaeden. Not lvl 70 people, if you know what I mean.

I've only casually played WoW for shorter periods of time, never made it past lvl 60. But Ive always loved the Warcraft lore. So...wasnt Kiljaeden supposed to be the ultimate motherfucker? Like, only Sargeras and those Titans guys were more powerful. So why has he already been downed, while Deathwing is [quote WoW creators] 'going to be the most epic raid ever experienced in WoW'? I mean, DW is only a bit more powerful than the other great dragons if I understand correctly.

And now, the impact of his first appearance is overshadowed by DW. I had hoped they saved the introduction of Kil until the very last expansion, with him FINALLY shown in the game. This way, the next encounter will be the same, just...more of him. And a lot harder.

@StormProductionzZ your example with Illidan - it was great they brought Illidan back, and they did him justice with his very own expansion and him as the ultimate boss. what wouldve have ruined was if some other dragon was the main boss, and Illidan was a boss in a random instance, where he flees after the battle. And then much later in the game you fight him full-on, but its not nearly as epic as if he was the end boss and you only get to meet until the very ending, where he is a total badass

You met the Lich King many times in Northrend(well you didnt since youre fucking level 60 for some reason which takes 30 hours of playtime) which made people know who he is and have a reason to care about him. A lot of people had no idea who Illidan is cause you dont get to meet him until the end. Either way, you saw neither so why do you care?

Now, don't get me wrong, raiding isn't just about the gear but most people don't think like true raiders. Back then, you had to go through every tier of content before going to the next one. I completely understand where they're coming from by saying raiding had meaning then.

That's the typical response of some scrub who can't handle current content. You'd have to be a complete fucking idiot to think that Vanilla and BC raids were harder than what's currently available. All the top guilds have even said H Rag and most of the other shit in Cata and Wrath are the hardest encounters they've done.

@redbuffalo15 I highly doubt you played vanilla. It was so much harder in general. No dungeon finder, no raid or dungeon maps, you leveled way slower, mounts were 1000 gold which is equivalent to 70,000 today. play vanilla before you think its easy u fuckin scrub. oh and u didnt have dual talents, spec specific gear, and no gems. The encounters were way harder too. I and many others on my server already have the legendary staff. not rlly legendary like hand of rag since its so easy to obtain

I'm not talking about mount prices or leveling you jackass, everyone knows it took longer to level in Vanilla and that gold was worth more... but that has nothing to do with raid difficulty. Dragon soul world first heroic deathwing kill: 3 WEEKS.
ICC world first heroic lich king kill: 52 DAYS
World first cthun kill: 3 MONTHS.

I'm not debating the four horsemen or c'thun being harder, I'm clearly stating a fact, sunwell was hard, and the hardest raid in its entirety. Regardless of having advantages such as vent, DBM and many other addons, sunwell was hard, and blizz wanted that. Cata is not easy, most of you saying it is probably wont kill heroic rag. But that being said no cata raid nor future will ever be as hard as the sunwell in its entirety, because blizzard don't want that. Just enjoy the content and the game.

I'm seeing a lot of QQ about which boss is harder blah blah blah, cata is easy blah blah blah. I killed KJ server first on my server, spend months alone wiping to M'uru, seen the 3 next best guilds to ours disband during Sunwell progression. It was designed to be hard, it was designed to take a lot of time to clear. It was designed as a slow progression upgrading loot over lengthy time to buy time for wotlk. And blizz said they will NEVER make a raid that challenging again.

I've only casually played WoW for shorter periods of time, never made it past lvl 60. But Ive always loved the Warcraft lore. So...wasnt Kiljaeden supposed to be the ultimate motherfucker? Like, only Sargeras and those Titans guys were more powerful. So why has he already been downed, while Deathwing is [quote WoW creators] 'going to be the most epic raid ever experienced in WoW'? I mean, DW is only a bit more powerful than the other great dragons if I understand correctly.

And now, the impact of his first appearance is overshadowed by DW. I had hoped they saved the introduction of Kil until the very last expansion, with him FINALLY shown in the game. This way, the next encounter will be the same, just...more of him. And a lot harder.

@StormProductionzZ your example with Illidan - it was great they brought Illidan back, and they did him justice with his very own expansion and him as the ultimate boss. what wouldve have ruined was if some other dragon was the main boss, and Illidan was a boss in a random instance, where he flees after the battle. And then much later in the game you fight him full-on, but its not nearly as epic as if he was the end boss and you only get to meet until the very ending, where he is a total badass

You met the Lich King many times in Northrend(well you didnt since youre fucking level 60 for some reason which takes 30 hours of playtime) which made people know who he is and have a reason to care about him. A lot of people had no idea who Illidan is cause you dont get to meet him until the end. Either way, you saw neither so why do you care?
