in the past there has been natural global warming trends that were fueled by solar cycles (with CO2 and water vapour as feedback mechanisms) - as the video almost illustrates.

Climate Scientists are of course aware of all of this - duh.

What the video fails to mention is how CO2 levels are higher than ever before and this is causing the current solar cycle to heat Earth up at unprecedented rates.

This is what is called "RUN AWAY" Climate Change, and it's at risk of happening right now.

Trees breathe CO2 and exhale O2, which benefits the rest of the species on Earth, including us. The trees were were more and doing better before we started killing them. (which, by the way, is why the deserts are believed to be as large as they are.) I think that a desert that has such a low life:size ratio can stand to shrink a little for the good of the rest of Earth's species. Accuracy of the trends is hard to determine when you examine such small timescales. Geological trends occur over millions of years, not hundreds.

Graphing the average temperature over the past 100 years isn't useful in determining what could possibly be a long "life-cycle" trend of the earth itself. If you want to make the argument that the earth is simply "naturally" warming/cooling, you'll have to prove it using data over the history of the planet, not humans.

2: Water levels are rising. They are expected to rise to about 6 cm above current levels as a result of glacial melting.
