What the manufacture wont tell you about these sights . once installed to adjust or remove the sights for any gunsmith work - will in fact destroy them . The sur-lok 1262 solution used to install the sights require heat to melt the bound between the slide and the sight . That much heat kills the tritium vial . Not making this up . I contacted their support and that's the answer I received .
Those SIG sights are definitely in there tight. I've installed Meprolights in the past, and an MGW sight pusher definitely made it an easier task with the SIGs.
Nice video.. I was going to get some for my Armscor 1911 but I was told they didn't make any for that particular 1911. I thought they would take the same novak rear and dovetail style front as a springfield armory or any 1911 but it appears they're different size dovetails.. I was highly disappointed to say the least.
It's amazing how many times the Obama 2012 ad is showing up on gun videos ;)

Using laser ammo or surefires laser trainer would be an excellent substitute for a trip to the range.
Then you'd be able to immediately check zero and get a precise alignment.

just a note, you're using the file in the wrong direction
they cut when you push with the file, not pull
unless.......your file is very special hahaha

@joeratti They're not cheap. Midway USA has the "Maryland Gun Works Front & Rear Sight Tool" for the Sig $119.99

I have really been thinking about adding these sights to my 228...now I really don't have an excuse not to.
Thanks for the demo.

Very nice instructional video. Don't have a Sig, but I guess they all are kind of similar.
