With regards to Ford and Nixon: absolutely!! The wrangling to ensure that Ford took the presidency is even more interesting in this context (they had to ensure Agnew was gone first) then on top of that, the whole matter of Nixon and HW Bush being in Dallas at the time of the JFK assassination is even more interesting. Interesting times. It's a very interesting picture when you look at the whole thing in context. Sadly, most people never will.
