Without a doubt, the feature item each year in Carols By Candlelight. This show has ALWAYS been a must watch and now that I no longer live in Melbourne, it makes me terribly homesick. But Christmas isn't Christmas for me without Carols!
When it comes time for Doug to retire and he's no longer conducting that choir, I'm going to be disappointed, as he's one of the few conductors that get the speed right for this piece (at least according to my taste). It was my favorite randition until I found Andre Rieus performance on youtube, and a couple of years watched the carols just for this. A bit slower than a previous years performance (also on youtube), but I think the previous years performance was a bit extreme
