Jeez. You can touch the babies whenever you need to, you just gotta pet the mother first to rub her scent onto ur hands and then you can touch them. I usually handle the kits on day 3 to check that they all have frog bellies. (For all you retards out there, it means that they have plump bellies, therefore they're being fed) In some cases, yes the mother may kill or neglect the kits. Others not. Sometimes its down to how much the mother trusts you. And emotional222 are u a freaking retard?
You NEVER touch a baby rabbit. the mother can sometimes neglect or kill the kits. You should leave the first three weeks cares to the mother rabbit and never disturb the nest.
You are a nightmare!!!! Does your parents know how cruel you are to your pets??
noo actually shes rite, ur not supposed to touch them until about 1 month cos the mother smells ur scent on the baby it wil neglect them, wen they get older stroke the mum first to get your scent on her then hold or stroke the babies, u need to do sum research
NO actually your wrong. look it up if you don't believe me.
One of my rabbits had babies and we touched them from the onset, the mother didn't reject them at all. if you don't know what you are talking about, just stfu
I do know what im talkin about, and wat i say is rite, maybe that was a one off with ur rabbit but what i sed is wat ur supposed to do, anyway even if she didn't neglect them dont u think u shud leave them alone wiv there mother for a bit.
no, rabbits do not need to be left alone with their mothers. there mothers try to avoid being around them most of the time (even when new born) so as not to attract predator attention. mother rabbits only spend a few minutes a fay with their offspring and the rest of the time they leave them alone. have you ever cared for rabbits or studied rabbit behaviour? oh, ok.
u dnt even no wat ur onna bout now... sooo... i cba wiv u im rite thts all i need to know and the mum dunt try to avoid them, it looks after them and cares and cleans them, u need to get ur fuckin facts rite mate =S

The mother stays AWAY from the kits for most of the day and is only with them 2-3 times a day for a couple of minutes for feeding. -.-
Do you even own a rabbit? Cause if u do then I sure do feel sorry for the little guy ;o Having such a retard that knows NOTHING about rabbits -- or even any animal -- TRYING to care for it everyday.
