  • Great Stuff! Keep on enjoying the rivers your way!

  • The C-2 appears to be a West German design; very popular in the late 1960s and early 1970s for river cruising.

  • Good vid, good music, beautiful location. amazing all round :-)

  • I was told that C2 was made by an older member of the Lower Columbia Canoe Club back in the days when people made their own.

  • the Ancient C2 is da bomb! who owns it? is it a berrigan?

  • it's sweet getting some air!

  • kayaking is better!

  • The song is by my son. He wrote it and recorded all the parts.

  • @mscantlebury reminds me of beck. good stuff and good video.

  • @mscantlebury Reminds me of Phish

  • Sweet stuff -

Does anyone know the tune playing?

  • you should try in a regular canoe

  • Sweet camera angle Marc,

Love the part of Scott(?)(..who usually has a roll...)...ROTFL.. Stuff happens sometimes...

  • pretty sweet video

  • damn clear water

  • SUPER COOL!

  • Nice Music

  • this song is awesome! give my props to your son

  • Nice work guys, looks like a blast.

  • I got to have that song, please, please, please. I got a video on here too, Check out "swiminmexican" & "standingman1". please get me feedback on the song, and also maybe we can paddle some time.

  • Part of the fun of OC-1 playboating is trying to keep water from pouring into your boat while surfing and running rapids, and when you fail that, dealing with a heavier, more sluggish boat until you get to a place where you can bail it or dump it.

In comparison, a C1 seems kind of boring (IMHO).

  • playing = closed c-1

    tripping = open c-1

otherwise it's a lot of bailing

  • nicee lines, crazy technicle sets ran really well.

  • Nice lines bytheway.

  • You guys should come up north to BC to do some paddling.

  • Actually, every year our club has a weeklong trip up to BC waters. You have some great runs up there ... just like we have down here. Sweet to be in the Pacific NW.

  • @mscantlebury great job guys, i have just got into kayaking and hopefully will be as good as you at paddleing in the future.

  • All rivers in the Pacific Northwest. Mostly the Clackamas and Kilchis in Oregon and the White Salmon in Washington.

I just got back from one of the ultimate trips--paddling the Middle Fort of the Salmon and then the Main Salmon in Idaho. It's an rare opportunity to put those two together for one trip. 190 miles of whitewater paddling in a canoe.

  • Really sweet paddling! Which rivers, which countries? I should add those to my whish-list!

  • Arggggg! I must know that song. I had a healthy dose of some water today.

  • The song is an original from my son. He wrote it and plays all the parts except the drum track. He's 19 now, but did that one when he was 17. It wasn't written for the video, but I thought it fit it well. Glad you like it. I'll pass on the comment.

  • Who does the tune man? dig it. and the paddelin. I'll stick to my splash skirt and hardshell though.

  • i'll do it in a kayaking but not a canoe

  • I dig it. party on

  • man, those little boats are twitchy. i paddle a whitesell and that thing will not go over

  • As a canoe guy who mainly sticks to class I and II water, I salute your skill and cajones. Great video.
