I just finished watching the movie grand torino that I rented last weekend. It's an awesome and sad movie, it's one of those types of movies where everyone has an opinion at the end, if you haven't seen this movie, you should definently go see it!

i thought it was an excellent movie, great plot, interesting in the way the movie unfolded, but terible cast/acting. clint was good and his character was well constructed, but the rest seemed like they needed some more classes. it could have done better, but still award worthy. 9/10

Racism, on the other hand, is the belief of the genetic superiority of one race over another, which his character clearly doesn't advocate.
The acting was absolutely terrible. It was the type of acting you expect for a peer pressure video in your junior high school. Except for Eastwood, and his children and the barber, the acting was the worst ever. Especially the Chinese kid and his sister. Worst actors I've seen in movies.
It was funny, and a decent plot line. Love Clint Eastwood. He was hysterical. If the acting wasn't so bad, this movie would be one of my favorite.

Not all films are unbelievable. Obviously movies like X-men Wolverine are unbelievable, but films like The Wrestler are believable. I agree with Vitalogy.
The acting was absolutely terrible. It was the type of acting you expect for a peer pressure video in your junior high school. Except for Eastwood, and his children and the barber, the acting was the worst ever. Especially the Chinese kid and his sister. Worst actors I've seen in movies.
It was funny, and a decent plot line. Love Clint Eastwood. He was hysterical. If the acting wasn't so bad, this movie would be one of my favorite.

This movie was pretty bad. The acting was terrible besides Eastwood. It was way too unbelievable and it just fell flat on itself. I don't want to spoil anything which is why I'm not going into too much detail.

Not all films are unbelievable. Obviously movies like X-men Wolverine are unbelievable, but films like The Wrestler are believable. Gran Torino is unbelievable and unrealistic because his grandchildren treat him like GARBAGE, not to mention that in order to be a man you have to be a prejudiced bigot, its absurd. Also, Eastwood's performance was decent but you can't say that he was all that great because in every scene he was either growling or trying be a tough/strong 80+ year old man....absurd

this movie was brilliant, anyone who ses it isnt, is either is too stupid to see it or a child (cause it didnt have fancy colours or singalongs in it) and as much as i dislike heaps of crap that grand torino was hot.

Clearly that is the best movie of the year. The Academy of Arts and Sciences is blind. Syn be told to Alfred Hitchcook, Cary Grant ... etc ... never received an Oscar (except Honorary).

This is the best movie. It has good meaning. As far as culture there is bad in all races other than that we are all equal. I myself am sick of the stereotype in this world. I shake hands and visit with people from all countries in my work. I will tell you one thing though. If you want to be treated normal than act normal. One hint would be wear your pants correctly and that means above your Ass crack.

I just want to comment on the movie. I watched it last week with my class and I believe it is an excellent movie, one of the best. My class is cultural deversity so this movie touched on so many discriminating issues that it wans't funny. The best parts were how the girl Sue was able to break him down!
