I have been homeless due to an injury> loosing my job,etc. My advice is don't just sit around in the drop-ins or parks in the day time. You can fill out applications, scout out possibilities in childcare. Even with kids or a bag of belongings there is a way to job and apt.hunt. Gather your inner strength. also drink plenty of water and cool off when you can. think of it as your job for now.

The irony of situations like this is that the people who have to struggle so much to get so little are the one's who are humble. And the people who are rich with things handed to them left and right with little effort (born in rich families) are the one's who are arrogant. I have more respect for those who had to overcome. I lived in a shelter with my mom when I was younger, too. But it makes me appreciate so much more others who havent been in that type of situation may take for granted...

I have been homeless due to an injury> loosing my job,etc. My advice is don't just sit around in the drop-ins or parks in the day time. You can fill out applications, scout out possibilities in childcare. Even with kids or a bag of belongings there is a way to job and apt.hunt. Gather your inner strength. also drink plenty of water and cool off when you can. think of it as your job for now.
