I would advice not using the M1911. Why? It is slightly weaker than the MP-412 with only one more bullet. I'm more of a high capacity person myself so I guess this is mostly opinion, but I'd say the MP-443 is the best handgun. Same power as the M9 but 5 more shots before reloading.

@GCVos The sniper is a 1 hit kill at close range. One question, what resolution are you running the game at? because I have a HD 5770 and yet when I try to run it on max settings on DX11 at 1080p it goes down to around 10fps quite often, which is pretty unplayable, so I had to take it down to DX9 mode.

@willsoe sililarly to call of duty, where you hit them matters. the bolt action snipers tend to be stronger, and a 1 shot kill within a certain range if you hit them in the head or upper torso.

I'm thinking about getting it myself, so I have a question: Are there many cheaters? Because in MW2 there are so many and I kind of don't like playing it anymore

No, hardly any cheaters at all. It depends on the server too. I was on a very well secured server that showed three players being banned for using an aimbot. So far, there has only been one game in which we figured an enemy was using an aimbot who didn't get kicked, but I just left that game.

There's no voting system. The administrators of the servers/clan are expected to do the monitoring themselves. I've currently got four servers in my favorites that have very active admins so so far, I really haven't been bothered by cheaters, and I'm not even joining Punkbuster servers. The game is perfectly protected by 'human' admins. ;)
