I like Ewan Macgregor for Roger and Dawn Steele for Jenny (which, despite watching and loving all of Monarch of the Glen, I have never even thought of!), but I think Nicole Kidman is too old to play Brianna, and Alex Kingston definitely doesn't look right for Claire. And as far as Jamie goes, if they're planning on using a big name, Gerard Butler seems about the closest thing to Jamie that I've come across, but I still doubt whether he could pull the character off successfully.

Hey, Gerard is not too pretty to be Jamie! If Diana Gabaldon's confessed mental image of Jamie being closer in resemblance to Gabriel Aubry, I'd say it might the other way round. Somewhere round here there's an image of Aubry complete with red hair - verra nice.

I agree with your choices for Jamie (with Gerry we come quite near, although on my opinion it's near to impossible to really find an actor that would fit Jamie's character), Jenny, Jack Randall, Bree and Jocasta - overall the best casting video I've seen so far. (Although your choice for Fergus was rather a surprise! :D)

The best casting video I've seen yet. Only change I would make is Brianna and Roger. I've always seen them as Laura Prepon and Christian Bale. Otherwise, fantastic!
