@Smarty4789 IMO it's a matter of personal preference...I'm ambidextrous but play regular strung righty. Try both and see what works for ya...

@maukabud66 It's just that' I've heard that there are many disadvantages to playing a righty guitar left handed (both regularly strung and not), but I don't know much about guitars so I don't know what that means exactly. I;m mostly left handed but can use my right for a lot of activities, I can probably play with my right if I try hard enough, but I'd rather not... Anyway I'll try everything and see what feels best, thx for your response

@signsix I have a friend that plays that way because he learned using his fathers guitar who was right handed, so he couldn't re-string it, but he says one of the reasons he kept playing the 'wrong' way was because he can simply pick up almost any guitar and play it, rather than limit himself to left-handed guitars, and not have to re-string a right handed guitar
