1st maybe it isnt a good idea to have that tipe of encing just saying :) because you know it could leave them tangled up and stuff but still I LOVE YOUR HORSES!
She's like stay away from him LOL. Really well behaved stallion. My friend has stallions that are always calm around mares. Even ones in heat mainly because they are to picky about the mares they like.
@1horseylover4 The mare is dappled grey not fleabitten..She will eventually turn white grey. The foal will probably turn grey too. or probably did. Foals are born with a different coat than they turn out to be. There is a foal that was born bay a few weeks ago and he is now turning grey. He has a grey mammy but not sure about the daddy. Also the stallion in that video is grey. Look at his muzzle. My friend has a grey horse with the same mane and tail as the stallion
She seems to be telling the stallion to stay away AND telling the baby to stay away from the stallion. I had to laugh to see how persistently the baby keeps trying to return to the stallion. Horse babies are just about as obedient as human children it appears. What a lovely set of horses. Thank you for sharing this video.
Not sure I agree she is telling stallion to move off. I think her instructions are to the foal. She moves him away from the stallion (usually, but not always) and she usually keeps herself between them. If she wanted the stallion to move away, she could definitely tell him to, but she doesn't. My interpretation: she is instructing the foal to stay by her and not get too curious with other horses. But, she is not really worried, so the instruction is very relaxed. Other opinions? Love the videos
@operafan65 The mare is talking to both of them. She is moving the foal away, but also telling the stallion to move. She isn't making too big a deal about it, and every time he gives calming signals she eases up; as long as he stays still and passive he can stay. If this was a strange stallion she would be much more upset about him being there, but they know each other well, and she knows he listens to her when she needs him to. So, she isn't TOO worried, just sending a message to both of them.
omg that was sooo cute (: that little foal was checking out the fence and the mare tap on the foals behind and they both got scared (: haahaa that was wicked cute
foal: hey i wanna go meet daddy! mare: get your ass back over here before i kick the shit out of you! foal: aww.... stallion: hey i just wanted to smell him then asert whos top dog..or horse
@umarmaxmas That's electrical line. Sure, it should be taken up some.. Like te bundle of rope on the gorund, and the Water hose (?) But, not that dangerous to the horses
Apparently not all Lipizzaners are homogzygous for the graying gene. I have seen an adult black and an adult bay. Gorgeous. don't you wish you could arrest the graying progression right where the mare is now?
I ts funny how the mare has this pretty coat and daddy is white or cream and then baby is this black color u wood think it wood come out looking something like them but no he is cute any ways.
@SuperRainbowPride He is going to be white like his parents :) His mother is now almost completely white and Bravo (the foal) is light grey now at 2 years old. Both his parents were born black/brown, too. This is common with this breed (P.R.E) just like the Lippizaners.
My answer before wasn't very clear, sorry about that. Both parents are P.R.E that stands for Pura Raza Española (Pure Spanish Breed). Most of those horses are white as adults and they are born dark brown or black. The Lippizaners are the same way; born dark and then goes white over time.
@SuperRainbowPride LOL ok I am sorry thats why I said the father is Lippizaners I thought thats what u were saying I have heard of that breed is that what u do is breed them.
I love how in the end she bumps his butt like "caught ya!" since he was being sneaky trying to see the interesting new horse. Poor stallion is left wondering what happened, lol.
Thank you for all the nice comments on my videos :)
We still have Bravo, but he is now for sale. The reason is that he no longer can be with his parents, Fabuloso sent him away when he was 1 year old and his mares came in heat, so that wasn't really a choice. Now we hope to find him a nice home where he can make someone as happy as his father makes me! Since we get new foals every year we simply have to sell them...
Actually the horses are PRE (Spanish horses, often called Andalusians). But the same applies; the foals are born dark and change color as they get older, unless one of the parents has another color and a dominant color gene.
These two horses had another stallion foal this spring, and he was born totally black. He turned to brown within the first month, and now, a month later, he is starting to turn gray. In about 2-3 years he's white!
ok so i watching this video nice annd peacefully then in the middle my 6 month old pupy barks at our dog that just came home, who has been here for hours, so i had to walk up and show macie who she was and start over, ggggrrrrrrrrrr that lil baby
