i barely survived 1 mil with ZERO jacks.. without jacks you're almost fucked on this achievement. here are 2 things i thought was important.
1.always know exactly how far away the magnets are from your ship and know that only your fast weapon can safely kill them headon consistently, the slower weapon is risky headon so shoot them from the sides or back.
2.jacks are your BEST friend, learn how to kill them and they will only boost your score and not threaten you in the future.

I just destroy them unless I need to use them to pull the enemies away from me. The enemies get faster and faster, so sometimes you have to use black holes to slow them down. Check my videos where I'm playing at a higher difficulty and you'll see me use this technique :)
Hey this is a cool video, but do you think you can make another one but have the camera facing the TV strait on instead of at an angle? I learned a lot from watching this. I didn't know the game is easier if you don't die or use bombs, that is so retarded.
I tried that actually, but my camera isn't very good and when I put it straight in front of the TV, it just looks blurry and is almost impossible to see what's going on. It looks better this way for some reason. Did you see my other video on google? I think that has a clearer picture than this one.

Yeah, it's impossible to get a really highscore in one sitting. I usually do around 10 or 15 million points then take a break for an hour or so and do the same again. Highscore runs can be very tedious, so I don't try and beat my score very much. In fact, I haven't tried to beat my current score once and have no plans on doing so any time soon.
Why is it that when I play I get the blue jacks and the multiple simoultaneous purple box spawns and a hundred fucking red ships comin' at me, all before 700,000. I swear my version of the game is set 3 nothces harder than everyone elses. When I hit 500,000 it looks like as if i'm at 5,000,000,000.
The game gets harder faster if you use bombs/lose lives. I don't use bombs/lose lives at all, so it may look a little easier than it does when you're playing.

Right the game is much harder for me as well but I think you might be right about not dying or using bombs. I noticed on your google video you only had one swarm of flies. I get at least two before 500,000, but I also used bombs. I watched another guy get 1mil and he used bombs and his game looked way harder. It is not a glitch to not use bombs, it takes skill yeah.
Honestly, it's fun getting archievements and GS when you earn it, but playing a game just for the score or getting score just to have it is senseless.

lol there is no cheats for this game and second this game is very glitchey and programed wrong for example... the worms spawn on top of you, the ships hitboxes are larger than they should be which means you get hit when ur not supposed to
You start the game with 3 lives and 3 bombs, but my video starts at 266,975 points. You get a life for every 75,000 and a bomb for every 100,000, so my lives are at 6 and my bombs are at 5 from the start of the video. Not very complicated maths, so I don't really get what you're saying. The 4 icons (from left to right) are the number 6, the life icon, the bomb icon and then the number 5...does this answer your question?

1,030,000(ish). But you can get a 10x multi anywhere between 600k and 1.3 million :)
You can hear the noise a few seconds after the "Score 1 million" achievement unlocks.

Yeah. It took 10 days (an average of 4 hours a day) and I had to leave my 360 on the whole time, which is kind of annoying - it can't be good for it.

damn that was insane. I hardly ever use bombs after going for the 9 bomb achievment I always forget. just curious what your highscore on the leaderboards is. Some guy is at 500,000,000. wow

My highscore is 206 million (#7 on the leaderboard), but I'm actually in the middle of a game now and I have 81 million, 8 lives, 9 bombs, so hopefully everything goes well:)

Scottland1986, very nice skill mate! These other 12 year olds complaining about cheats or glitches have nfi. They are just immature tools, there are far to many on XBL. But what do we expect in a child orientated world? *sigh*. Nicely done. I'm stuck on 3 achievements to go and they are really hard (doesn't help i don't have much time to game). Very addictive and cool game this one. Can't wait for a multilayer one! I would love to see a full quality vid of it from the start!

Why is there always someone like you davidgonzo232? Someone who has to claim we're all cheating when we do something you can't. Getting all 12 achievements is easy if you practise at the game and anyone who can score 5+ million is probably capable of making a video doing the same thing as me. Why cheat to get achievements? They're only for fun. You don't get famous or make money for having a good GamerScore.

WOW! You must be joking! There is NO GLITCHES OR CHEATS for this game and it was not harder for you than it is for me. I just know how to deal with the spawns and you don't, so stop speaking like you know what you're talking about, ok. If you know an "easy run" glitch, then PLEASE do try and explain it, cause I can't wait to hear your excuse for not telling us!

Right the game is much harder for me as well but I think you might be right about not dying or using bombs. I noticed on your google video you only had one swarm of flies. I get at least two before 500,000, but I also used bombs. I watched another guy get 1mil and he used bombs and his game looked way harder. It is not a glitch to not use bombs, it takes skill yeah.

Honestly, it's fun getting archievements and GS when you earn it, but playing a game just for the score or getting score just to have it is senseless.
I can't understand people playing for archievements without having fun...fuck the score, nobody ever blamed me due to my score.

lol there is no cheats for this game and second this game is very glitchey and programed wrong for example... the worms spawn on top of you, the ships hitboxes are larger than they should be which means you get hit when ur not supposed to

You start the game with 3 lives and 3 bombs, but my video starts at 266,975 points. You get a life for every 75,000 and a bomb for every 100,000, so my lives are at 6 and my bombs are at 5 from the start of the video. Not very complicated maths, so I don't really get what you're saying. The 4 icons (from left to right) are the number 6, the life icon, the bomb icon and then the number 5...does this answer your question?
