  • I prefer the Tamiya acrylics, they are waterbased and you don't need expensive thinners, just use water to rinse your brushes and methanol alcohol as a thinner. Works perfectly for me. Lots of the fancy stuff these Japanese modellers are using , you don't really need. There are a lot of substitutes like Scotch Brite pads. Use your fantasy while modelling. You can do wonders just with a lighter, a small drill and lots of imagionation.

  • @Brera011

    you're right!

I'll find time to put up a vid showing wayyy simpler steps and getting even better results!

  • me encanta soy mexicano me agrada mucho tu trabajo espero podremos intercambiar esperiencias un saludo y hasta pronto

  • EVERBODY TAT IS LOOKING AT THIS VID HAS FALL IN LOVE WIF HER!!!!!!

  • So delicate, so fragile, like porcelain ....oh, and nice girl too! :-P

  • A real woman! ;-P

  • Why did she use enamel on the person but acryllic on everything else? And whens he was using thinner on a cotton swab to clean stray paint, why didn't it wipe the lower layers right off?? Reply plz, I am looking for tips ^-^

  • I think it's mainly a question of letting dry the lower layers very well (up to three, four days). Then you can wipe out fresh colur without any danger for your work.

To find out why she prefers enamels for painting persons my japanese isn't good enough. :-)

  • She used enamels for the persons because it dries the slowest, she can blend the colors better and have a longer work time.

  • enamels, like the humbrol she used, can be blended better, like oil paints for more realistic tones. humbrol is great stuff, worth the price. The thinner on the cotton swab might effect the paint in the pen, but not the acrylic she used for the base...I dont know what those brush pens have in them, so i cant say for sure what she had on the swab.

  • humbrol cost too much.

  • @aryonas

    Hello!

She actually used Gunze lacquers on the tank, not acrylics, so the cotton swab (which had acrylic solvent, same as the marker) didn't removed the lower layers. She used enamels on the figure due to the variety in tones, most professional figure modellers use enamels for those. Hope that helps after a while!

  • I know little about paint and model. But what she uses on a cotton swab is just water because the yellow line is water soluble kids paint from dollar shop. It's not acrylic so erasable even after it's dry. I don't know if the tank body is oil or acrylic - you know better. She used the hell expensive British enamel because (1) it nicely restrains the gloss when it comes to rather detailed shadows, creases and wrinkles (2) when over paint or make gradation, it doesn't wipe the lower layers.

  • @MickCorgi: "Hell expensive British enamel" ??

    Humbrol aint that expensive...

  • She failed thats why.

  • wow mary me plzz

  • Nice to see someone pay attention to painting the skin of the soldiers

  • wtf hot asian chicks do THAT!MARY ME!!!!

  • I like her voice. Its comforting...

  • She was a voice actor before becoming a professional modeler.

  • I think I love her! Good stuff!!!

  • Its a Gal airbrusing a little tank. What else can a man ask for. : ) Great stuff!!
