  • Bad end.

  • @OceanicCamels Ya Mahalo didn't get enough Good Karma and he didn't talk to the Prophet Guy back in the Ranger Station before he left to the Library

  • @orrthehunter I don't understand....good karma means you DON'T destroy the MAN-EATING creatures of the apocalypse, EVEN THOUGH they are trying to rip apart your flesh piece by piece.....wtf man? To me, this is a GOOD ending, although the fiery canvas below reminds me that its not.....WHAT IS IT that artyom also destroyed that was so......valuable?

  • @marioman361 The so called "Man-eating" was just a false idea of what the Dark Ones were. The Dark Ones were never evil to begin with but people assumed they were and began to attack them. They were completely separate from the other creature but people believe they were the same. Destroying the Dark Ones brought Nuclear conditions to the land and brought even more war between Humans now.

  • @orrthehunter Oh, So people assumed that just because they looked like the man eating beasts, that they WERE man-eating beasts. I feel bad now....

  • @marioman361 Without the Dark Ones. Humans will never be able to find a way to restore the world back to a better condition because the Dark Ones were the only ones who know how to restore the world. They also never wanted this war but to live in peace with the Humans but the humans continued to treat them like the other creatures and eventually resulted in this war.

  • @orrthehunter In the book or in the game?Because I haven't finished the book yet.I'm at the point after Artyom was left by the Revolutionaries in Pavletskaya Station or what's it called.

I'm asking because there might be a difference between the book and the game on this matter.

  • @orrthehunter

That may be, but ask yourself this- did they REALLY have to make contact with people the way they did? Their hallucinations caused people to go insane or go into comas. Almost always ending in death. It's not like people have enough to worry about with radiation, mutagens, mutants, nazis, communists, and god knows what else- but the Dark Ones trying to "help" people. They're obviously intelligent, so why can't they write messages? "We don't want to hurt you." They can't do that??

  • @herofromthedark Well they probably already did that long ago but when the human first saw what they look like....well you know how certain Humans are about appearances.

  • @herofromthedark

if you ever read the book (which was only released in england yes i know thats kind of weird but it's were it was originally made.

The dark-ones did write messages in the metro's walls and you find a few in the game you find characters and rangers talking about them saying the bandits are just pulling off pranks or its just lunatics but the dark-ones have done it plus they never stopped being friendly because... Hang on check second comment ran out of letters.

  • @herofromthedark

Okay carrying on from the first reply (ran out of words to type)

They didnt stop being friendly at all it was really the Biomass and the Evolution of the Daemons and such that started the whole thing the humans only believe that they were so bad that the hallucination that the Dark-ones tried to communicate with made the mind interoperate the wrong idea and it made it lose there sanity.

That and the mind was too Undercomplex to understand such a transmission from another being.
