Have you ever been to Tokaruk or Patterson lakes? They are probably the two best Trout lakes in Manitoba. Bower lake is also good but if you've been to William you've most likely been to Bower as well.
Yea, I've got a cabin in that area. You can look forward to some vids from there over the summer. We visited Bower the weekend after this was shot but were only there for the afternoon. Got a few bites but nothing stayed on. Thanks for the tips though
There is some really big smallies in William Lake. They put them in to control the perch population and they are thriving. Not many trout left in the lake as I don't hink they stock it anymore.
I would have been happy to see a Bass but with all the Perch in there I guess they are staying well fed. I will have to get ahold of the stocking list this spring.
Once the ice is off the lake, try ripping a jig through the weeds. I have caught quite a few that way. You can also use the little perch as bait, that works well too.
O where is this lake? I am thinknig of a differnent lake sorry man!

@xSDNDxHandgunZ Absolutley positivly shure those are perch. We snag em in the summer at the lake where my cabin is. No bass in there.

my uncle caught a 19 inch female brown today at williams lots of good ice still thats a master angler here in manitoba
