I love my LAPD and the reason I do is because is am a law abiding citizen and I have NEVER had a bad experience. There are many more like me, but unfortunately the few that hate LAPD are very visible and loud and deserve everything that comes to them. I also would like to note that people like to hate because they just cant appreciate.

The L.A.P.D. is very corrupt. Just look at the former C.R.A.S.H. unit. Over one hundrend convictions overturned because of police misconduct. Some of those cops went to jail.

Departments must make use of rubber guns squads at the first time an officer shows signs of psycholgical extremis and/or impairment. 10 percent are problemed officers, and the rest are good, A few bad cops, does cause a reflection on a whole department.

When you need help or rescue i garentee you will ask for my help. Yes i will give you my hand because i swore to protect and serve my community. @TriggerHappy051 I am Italian, and have lived in L.A. for about 5 years. I have never had to call the LAPD for anything, thankfully, but I would have done it in a second if I had to. My experience with them? When my car broke down in a nasty area, a patrol car waited with me till rescue arrived. Also, they 'rescued' my dad that had come to visit me (he didn't speak any English) who got a bit lost when I was working. The call from LAPD freaked me out, but I can't really complain :)
