From what I read in Gameinformer, SEGA might make a game in collaberation with Nintendo for a Mario and Sonic adventure game. Not that these side games aren't fun in multiplayer and especially when your entertaining kids, but an adventure between the two would be... interesting to say the least.

Since Sonic's starting to get good games again, Mario and Sonic should have a full-fledged adventure game together. I love the Olympic stuff, but I think that they should do something even bigger and better than that. If we got the Unleashed Daytime levels, mixed with Mario Galaxy, it may be one of the best games of all time.
