Doesn't anyone know how to calculate a vertical...? Standing flat footed you raise your arm above your head and measure to the top of the highest finger tip. Then you jump as high as you can (with an approach) and measure to the point of where the finger touched. Example: I am 6' 4" and standing flat footed my finger tip reaches 8' (96in). Now when I do an approach and jump I can hit 11' (132in) - you do the math by subtracting the starting distance of 96" from 132" you get a 36" vertical.
