I do know that Hd dvd's were more expensive but honestly, I do not know which one is better. Hd dvds were good while they lasted.

I have booth formats and the quality is the same only difference is the BD & player holds more info on it. I still buy all the HD Discs I can get over BD bc wont be able to get them after a while and the BD will be around .

I know, Warner Brothers just announced that they are officially backing Blu-Ray. I always supported Blu-Ray from the start but was disappointed to hear that Microsoft actually supported HD-DVD; they are rivals with Sony after all.

I have a30 hd dvd player. It is certainly a upstep from my xbox 360 add on. I also have it set at 720p on my 40 inch sammy it looks great.GOD DAMN THOSE SHINY DISCS DON,T YOU JUST LOVE EM!!!

Yes, 1080p is nice but you'll only noticed the difference in 1080p and 1080i if your TV is over 45 inches, anything below that you wont.

Many people say that the the HD-DVD Format had more online use, and the online features were better.

My honest opinion, Blu-Ray was way better and it won.

I've got the A-3 but my tv only goes up to 1080i so that's not a problem. But as far as the player goes, I love it!
